Ah yes, those VGT spaceships that many people hate..

While PD are pushing out 700hp, 500kg, impractical, fake cars, that many people love...

SMH.
This one was made in real life and was just driving on a race track roughly an hour ago.

Of all the VGTs, this one may have the most real world implications, as Hyundai/Genesis are making moves and taking performance and Motorsports very seriously. This particular concept intends to be a direct preview of their upcoming performance line, which may result in a GT3 and/or 4 program to compliment the’now confirmed hypercar program that starts in now just under a year.

The new Hyundai is actually pretty fun to drive… It’s just very heavy and the brakes need to be upgraded. The car was nice to drive though sounds good also.. I forgot it was an EV definitely a nice addition for GT7.
I was agreably surprised to see it can be fitted with a stage 5 weight reduction. (Cr. 120,000)

Can anyone tell me if anything changed in circuit experience at all? Because in patch notes they wrote :

 - The target times for all Circuit Experience events have been adjusted, and we have updated all demonstration replays. Also, all rankings boards have been reset.

But i didn’t notice any changes to times since i have some tracks still in progress to complete 🧐

Saw this doing the rounds on Twitter.
Supposedly there was a PC port in development, but it was shelved.
Makes sense if Sony/PlayStation don't want their hardware sales to drop, but I guess then why was it developed in the first place? Maybe they saw the Xbox situation and how it played out, and changed their mind on a PC GT7 mid-way through development.

Yup. That's why they have anti-cheat detection.

As far as we're aware, no there wasn't... so no it wasn't

A lot of places took our article in which Kazunori Yamauchi said it had been considered and looked into as if it was actively being pursued, so he later had to deny that (someone even quoted us saying it was to him in a question and... we just didn't say that) and then the whole game of telephone took place.

I wouldn't say no GT game would head to PC, but I've always been very, very confident indeed that GT7 wasn't the one that would.

Is there cheating on iRacing ? AMS ? LMU ? Or even modding ?
Don't know about those games but there's cheating in the PC port of F1 games, so it's possible to cheat in racing games. There's also cheating on PS4 FPS games though, so it's not like a game is immune because it's on console. You still need to have anti cheat measures.

I think the persistent rumour (on Twitter/Reddit etc) is more to do with the Nvidia Geforce leak. GT7 and Demon’s Souls are the only PS games left from it that haven’t been released on PC, so people will still insist they are coming.

GT8 on PC day 1 always seemed a better bet to me, especially now after the success of Helldivers 2 for Sony.

We pointed out right away that GT7 wasn't on the list in the same way as other titles that were coming, and the whole thing looked like storefront scrapes. That this rumour wouldn't go away was crazy.
