May 1st at the earliest if they keep releasing on Thursdays.
That would technically mean they'd have skipped April entirely, though a similar number of days will have passed as normal.
We might get in a pattern of updates releasing at the beginning of months rather than at the end if that's the case.
Remains to be seen.
An update on the first day of the month would be a first, right? (no pun intended)

Well that spoils my next surprise that the 370Z isn't even in the game...

I've had it on the Master Car List as "370Z", instead of "Fairlady Z (Z34)", for over three years on purpose - and without anyone noticing - as one of several trap streets to spot who's copied our car list. It may surprise you to learn how many places do.
That is a good trap, and if I'm not mistaken, other trapped entries on that list include
🕴️Nothing in particular🕴️
Very nice.

I would be open for paid DLC if we get more performance/supercars to the game.
But i doubt PD will go that route.

Thing is... If they were to introduce new supercars to the game it would be via a standard free monthly update. It's clear they aren't planning any paid DLC at this point.

PD "won't go that route" because of the myriad complications of licensing and producing the cars which appear in the game, not out of pure choice. It's been discussed ad infinitum by now

I would definitely pay for DLC packs if they were worth it.

One major difference with GT Sport & GT7 is that you can buy paints with credits instead of milage points which is another reason why I think PD should do an offline livery editor; being part of GT Auto instead of its own separate thing like in Sport.
They need to bring back the "acquire a car, get the paint chip for it" feature.

Well, they don't work if people point them out...
Quite right, sorry; I assumed the lazy sites that copy the lists wouldn't find or interpret the contents of that spoiler tag, but its contents have now self-destructed.

You think that someone lazy enough to just copy the list from here is gonna go through the effort of checking the forums to see if anyone pointed out these kind of entries?

So no update next week? 😭

Not every C&V merchant is an unrelated site like the one noted above. One has form for scouring the forums for its own leads.

I'm finding very funny that I can drive the Nissan R390 road car in Forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport as well as the Nissan R390 GT1 race car in Project Cars 3 but it hasn't come to GT7 even though a lot of work went into improving the standard models in GT6.
I'd be shocked if that doesn't appear in GT7 at some point, they added the GT-ONE, Escudo and Castrol NSX which are series staples, all that's really missing is the R390 GT1 and the Panoz Esperante GTR-1; the latter of which I doubt will appear sadly but would love to be proven wrong. The R30 Skyline Silhouette last appeared in GT2 and even that was given a update for GT7 so the R390 i'm sure they will add at some point. I honestly think we will get the Porsche 911 GT1-98 before the R390, which is another car i'm surprised hasn't been added yet seeing as Porsche is pretty prominent in GT7.

So Fanatec seem to think the Renault Kangoo is a mod.

Nope, it's official content. Just highlights the absurdity I suppose lol

I think they're more going for the vibe of "See this here? If you're going to be using mods [elsewhere] this is what you should be going for" rather than "hurrr durrr GT haz mods lol van".

That's the awesomeness of simulators/games: you can do absurdity/stuff that will never happen in real life :D
Btw in raceroom expoerience you can have up to 78 ai drivers AND it has racing trucks -> it's fun to dodge these "driving raodblocks" in faster cars ,but it gets hilarious when you invert the scenario (you in one racing truck against 78 group c cars on daytonna tri oval) :D

I am not sure if this is the correct thread but here are some appreciaton and reflex from GT7 after a weekend playing FH5:

-I appreciate more than ever that PD is not doing this FOMO/ seasonal thing for content, at my 40 y.o, time to play (and i general anything outside work) is usually scarse (1 hour, 2 as most per day) and I found that only have 1 day to complete a seasonal or I will lose the chance to get the SF90🥲.

-Livery editor en GT7 is more friendly and far superior on topics like stickers and color placement, I got frustrated trying to do a livery today, even though, it has some cool features, like the ability to crop the stickers that PD could mimic.

-Photomode is also something PD can be proud, FH5 have some interesting filters(and the interface is almost the same that Insomniac has been using on their latest games), but is not even close to the options you have in GT7, is definitely more difficult to get a photorealistic pic in FH5.

Now things that FH5 do great and PD could take notes:

-Car list, I know that PG games leverage from T10 (and viceversa) to boost the modeling and volume of cars, and that quality of modeling is not the same, but there are some really interesring cars (specially daily cars) that I would kill to see in GT7 like almost every VW Golf generation, a modern Unimog, the Cupra Formentor or the datsun 510.

-The detail on enviroments such as trees, vegetation, rocks, water and grass and the interaction with the cars is top, something that GT7 needs to improve, specially the trees and rock textures.

Give me a poop emoji if you remember fishermans ranch with it's ~50k credit award for a clean race and seeing the first time a 20milion credit car in the legendary dealership💩

Edit: or the invite only cars (> 1Million)

I've been playing Forza Horizon 5 for nearly a week now and I agree with all of your points. For the negative points:

• The FOMO mechanics and seasonal cars in Horizon has always been terrible, I've been trying to get a C8 Z06 but there's never one up for auction. At least there's Horizon Backstage but that still doesn't cut it, so many cars locked away...

• Playing FH5 made me realize the car models and details in GT7 are simply unmatched. The way the halogen lights lit up, the quality of interior details and such in GT7 is just superior.

• I haven't tried to do a livery in FH5 yet but I can tell right away that GT7 Livery Editor is superior due to the fact that there's almost no realistic or detailed community liveries in FH5 available.

As for the Forza Horizon 5 positives:

• Multiplayer is so much fun, the fact that I can race in S1 class against a Civic, Huayra R, Altima and an M8 GTE is just too random and unique. Matchmaking could use some work though, I barely get filled lobbies.

• I actually enjoy the physics, not too arcadey like The Crew Motorfest but also not too realistic like GT7 is. It's very nicely balanced for most cars and fun to drive around.

• Car Selection is pretty much the best in the racing genre and I love the fact that I actually get Drivatars with similar cars for each class or segment. If I pick a CLK GTR, I'll be paired with an F50 GT, McLaren F1, 911 GT1... If I pick a Valkyrie AMR, I'll be paired with an FXX-K, Huayra R, BT62... If I pick an M5, I'll be paired with an Panamera, RS6, E63S and so on.

Both games are great games in their own regards, but they could also use some improvements. Specially GT7's car selection.

Well that was not FOMO but trying to push people to buy credits with MTXs, it was a different problem that lasted 2 weeks😅

GT7 is obviously FOMO in the UCD and LCD stuff with microtransactions included, and also the Invitations stuff.
