Long story short I wanted to try and create my own c8r livery with the little I know about using the livery editor and so yesterday after 3 hours I made one only to find out I mess it up so I got mad and delete it.

So today again I tried again and using what I learned from those 3 hours plus 4 hours today I made my own team corvette c8r livery and Im super happy at how it came out.

In all those hours I learn so much about how to use this livery and how to manipulate shapes into any shape I want.

Only problem when I try to put the number 51 on the side tip of the wing the number extends cross the wing is there any fix for that?

Use the limit angle and depth option. Decrease either or both, in a negative scale. With some decals, you don’t need to place them at -10, but less than ”0”. no pun intended.

After ages of being inactive, I actually have a couple of liveries to share.

I made my own Trust Greddy Racing Porsche 962C, adding the stripes on the room was annoying.

and despite there being so many, I made my own Calsonic R34 livery. I did it, because I plan to eventually (maybe in the morning after some rest) create alternate colored versions of this livery. Like what I did with the R32 Livery.

How to color the full windshield banner ??

Sorry, I could don't find the answer to that question in this thread.
When I want to design the windshield banner I only get black background.
When putting a colored decal upon the spot I do not receive the full area (outer left and right corners remain black).
Please help me with the solution. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I didn't notice the reply above.

So, I'll move on with my own livery post.

A long while ago, I had a desire in my head to have the Ford GT LM Spec II's livery in alternate color options. and I finally got around the publishing some.

I started with this, recreating the livery from scratch (which was challenging and I still don't have it right yet), then giving it a new number and green stripes. Link Here

I then recolored that livery in other colors, complete with their own numbers.

Here it is in Gulf colors (I might alter the shading again later). Link Here

Next, I colored it in Mark IV Red. I always thought it was wierd that the Spec II didn't have this as a color option in the first place.

Lastly, here it is in blue. I forget which blue I used, it's an official Ford color though. Link

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I restored my DB7 Racing Mod replicas from GT Sport, I gave them each a slight update too.

Happy new year all. Put together my final livery of 2022, and finished up my first pair of 2023.

#61 Weider Callaway Corvette

Took heavy inspiration from the Honda HSV-010 that ran with a Weider sponsor in the first couple of years Honda used the model in the GT500 class. Took plenty of fiddling with projection settings to keep the stripes from bleeding over, and part of the reason I decided to just color the rear black since I didn't think it would look quite right if I continued the red and blue stripes all the way down the back end.

Another design with heavy inspiration, this time from the brush-stroke livery seen on the LF-LC GT Concept as well as the unveil for the LC GT500. I used some tear-style mask decals from the showcase over White PZW paint to replicate the shimmering iridescent look. The process was also design first sponsor second, so I settled on making it a fictional rookie entry for Gazoo Racing. I also plan to go back and either change the original racing number and/or make a tweaked sister car since I already used 9 for my Impreza design, and I want these to be believable as entries on the same grid.

#117 D'Station Racing McLaren 650S GT3
I'll admit that the non-Japanese models have been some of the more difficult cars to find inspiration for when it comes to Super GT liveries; partly due to them being outliers in the series (surprise surprise), and partly because I want my sponsor choices to be realistic in pairing with the model. The 650S to my knowledge never ran in Super GT, and the closest I could find were some 12c GT3s that I didn't vibe with design and color wise, so I was stuck until I found that team D'Station previously used an Aston Martin Vantage in the 2020 season. I went with it since I haven't done anything with a green base color in this set yet and gave me chance to use some different sponsor decals.

Last but not least, I took all the GT300 stuff I've made so far and put it together on the grid for some shots of the set so far (finally broke double digits today at 11 total). Looking forward to getting to full grid by the end of 2023, and seeing other great stuff from the community.

In GTS it was something like 1000 decals I haven't saved more than a few dozen in GT7 so unsure there
