I’m trying to paint the aftermarket chin spoiler on my Plymouth Superbird, but I’m having a lot of trouble keeping the decals from bleeding onto the rest of the car. I really wish that part was considered “Other” so it was separate. :(

Adjusting the angle and depth limits doesn’t entirely help because I get jagged edges and small bits still appear on the nose area.

Cover them with decals in body colour

Been making BRZ liveries in Super GT style for a few days now....

It's strange, when I started making liveries they would be way too busy. Then I started making more simple stuff, one main sponsor and a few tyres and oil small sponsors.
Then I started with these and there's just so many sponsors ....

What’s everyone working on? I’ve always wondered if others have a back burner project they are working on. Before getting distracted by the iron force cars I was making some decals to give this a go.

2020 Kyalami Audi, doing all three colors. What are you guys working on?

I remember when GT2 had it's demo, and Kaz said " I want a car you drive or want to buy,or dream of one's you'll never own" well I want my car I drive. A 1995 Toyota Tercel Blackhawk edition. Or just put in a vehicle that has the same engine. Like the paseo it had the same engine.

I've got a backlog so long it's slightly embarrassing!
I've made a start on two custom race full grids - one which I've very nearly abandoned but need to get back on. I've got a one-make international Mini series which I've completed, but now I need to buy another 19 '05 Minis...

The one I've nearly abandoned (but will get back onto very soon) is a five team event replicating historic liveries onto the original Mini, the Beetle and the Gordini. I've made the Marlboro liveries from the old McLaren MP4/4 and MP4/6 and Gulf liveries from the GT40's of Le Mans '66 and 67; I've made a start on Martini (Lancia 037/Delta rally cars), JPS (Lotus 72/78/91), and Rothmans (Porsche 956) but the amount of detail work on those three slowed me down massively.

Your level of organization is impressive, I may have an idea or two on the back burner, but you sir are next level. Very cool, thanks for sharing.

It feels like I've got so much stuff on the back burner the U.S. Forest Service is using a 747 Super Tanker to try and extinguish it.

- '2 Decals' LEC entry

- "Course" car...
FojeAEvXEAE9EsO

- 3 remaining official Art Cars (2 of these I started in 2018, but haven't really touched since)

- Peter Halley's M6 GT3, and 3-4 other works that were commissioned on BMW's.

- update the Vaillant Z4 with some details I'd missed before based, perhaps presented as the Goodwood 2022 version.

- 2 'art' cars of my own design. One requires figuring out generating decals proceduraly, the other is just an absolute ton of free hand drawing decals.

- ~25 BMW DTM cars (in various states of completion between drawing decals and finishing in the livery editor)

- I want to get my Black & White LEC Entry working again, even it means making it for a fourth time.

... I'm just rubbish at making the time for actually doing this stuff.

I rarely have a backlog. I usually only have one car in the pipes at the time and so I try and make it done
As you can see from my garage I do one Livery for a car I am using for something special, then all of a sudden I make just liveries for that one car. Then I need another car for something else and the circle continues

Hah, I thought about doing that R8 for about 12 seconds, then noped right out. I have an in-progress Elton R8 from the N24 competition but haven't gotten around to finishing that.

I have a ton in progress that I just haven't had time to complete. Life has been busy this year, relatively new at a job where I have a bunch of responsibility (Product Design, design systems lead). And we're building a house. So… I finish probably 1/5 of what I start. Most that I finish are the contests here.

Some notable WIPs: A Crystal Pepsi car, an Iron City Beer Corvette, a Gosser, a Pantera leftover from the Carrera Panamericana LEC, a busted up 24 h of LeMons MX5, a modernized Nihon Nissan, a Sprite Porsche, a Grey Goose RS01, a Brumos, another UPS Porsche, a chrome Weather Tech Viper, a Bosch… something, a Jegs Viper, a Carlsberg something, and I really need a livery for my 787 as it's my grinder. I have more ideas than time.

Due to my time, I pick up & put down designs often. Maybe have 10+ short editing sessions per car I finish (also probably why I end up with corrupted saves… Save As is my friend). Fresh eyes always seems to help me.

For me it's usually less backburner, more likely abandoned to never see the light of day again because the list of ideas is never ending, and my free time has been going towards RBR and rF2 instead as of late...
That said when it comes to stuff that's "actively" being worked on I'm:
-Revisiting a fantasy IMSA GTP (80's) based on an arcade game of similar vintage.
-Trying to collect the last few sponsors from a 60's Indy car for the RA272.
-Continuing the theme of microcomputer inspired liveries, seeing how well the Audi's paint might transfer onto the 787B at the moment.

Is the Elton R8 one of the Iron Force cars? If so I just did it and have all decals of you need anything. Well not all. I could not find a good reference for one of two.
