Hey, is it possible to unshare decals without deleting them or breaking your own liveries?
I always upload as many decals as I see fit but just came by someone who actually recreated a replica with 20 of my decals which feels kinda weird (although its a replica of course). So I'm thinking about removing some decals which are only used on this replica so I can counter this lol.
This sounded oddly familiar to a guy who stole some of my liveries and scape shots back in Sport, down to the captions and hashtags. Idiots. :D his versions sucked of course, but still..

One of the top users recently used my Valmont set to make a livery that has many hundreds of likes now while mine has a handful, oh well. It’s Cool he chose mine, he could have used others…. That’s what sharing is about, right? That said, I have many decals I’m not sharing because they make my livery unique, like the f@#$ing broccolini and cucumbers from the Bathurst Ferrari, what a chore that was.

Ooof. I feel you. Nice livery though, deserves more :D
...And that's why I haven't shared a single thing in 7 yet. Not a decal, not a livery, nothing.
It got very demotivating in the end of my Sport days to see a livery I spent so many hours on only getting 15 likes despite having the amount of followers I had.

Well its not that the design is stolen, again, it's a replica and all the decals are shared lol. He probably didn't even realized he got all the decals from 1 user, you just search for the decal and you can place it without seeing a name anywhere I believe.
And I doubt it will get more likes

I still like to upload all my decals but I think it's maybe better to keep some which are almost 100% unique for the car for myself.
But if I delete the shared decal it won't break my own design? Just checking, if not I can't be bother actually.

If you go to your gallery and delete it from there it'll remain in your internal uploaded files but not be available for anyone else. If you go to "My Items" in Showcase and delete it there it'll delete it everywhere and it'll break your livery. So you have to delete it from your gallery to make sure it doesn't disappear completely. I do it all the time with Scapes photos, sharing a load then downloading to my phone then deleting from my gallery, leaving only the ones I want to keep on there.

Ah thanks man will do that!

Hey everyone, it's been a while there too!

Here is my tribute to Ayrton Senna and his first victory in Monaco in 1987.

And while I'm here, "some" of my late liveries.
Of course feel free to like, repost and follow if you think it's worth it. :)

Pardon me if this has already been asked. I'm tired and have a headache that slows me down.

Is there a way to remove a livery without opening a blank one and saving that?

You can just delete your liveries on the GT Site if that is what you mean.

"Restore original livery" in bottom left?
Oooh silly me. I never saw that button  thank you!

Nope, I haven't shared anything. I just wanted to remove my design to snap a few pictures for an upcoming "ad" :D but thanks anyway :D

Another replica, this time the 2022 ENDLESS GR Yaris. Packing loads of little details right down to the correct branding on the kill switch decal, the rear bumper fixings, ATL fuel filler, rear rain light etc. I had to create a CF texture for the rear wing (curse you PD for not making the CF paint actually usable in a practical way).

Despite looking fairly simple, it took a fair amount of late nights as I had to make loads of the decals from scratch. There were a surprising number of changes from the 2018 86 that I previously replicated, then I had the usual issue of obscure Japanese manufacturing firms with little to no web footprint. Finally I had to completely re-draw the panther's tail to fit the shape of the rear arches which was a bit of a chew.

The only thing missing is a FUJITSUBO decal on the rear diffuser as it's a non-editable area for some reason.

Finally made time for some real One Make Civics I’ve been wanting to do. Some decals I can’t find(some I’ve omitted - Marlboro) as I don’t make my own, but I’m satisfied with my semi-replicas. 17/20 are done. Just need to figure which liveries I’ll apply to the last three.

Back in 1991 there partnership failed but there reunited with a livery on my P1 GTR.:)

Know something that I wish was a option is the ability to paint each side of the wheels like for this livery I would had love to have the Nintendo side red and the PS side blue why is that not a option?

This one ended up being more complicated tha I expected, by an order of magnitude. I finally pulled it all together today when I figured out how to get around the layering issue I was having. I had to make my decals differently than I had at the beginning.
