Got back some inspiration to do a livery again, after playing around with an engine swapped VW Beetle ‘66. I think it came out well.

Playing around with layer opacity for the Imposter LEC.
I started with the more metallic looking MK1 at 50%,
but it didn't really show up properly on any of the scapes
so in the end I added another layer to make it more white
to give it a better Skoda feel.
You can see the texture in the Style images but it just
doesn't really transfer to the Scapes.

How do people get clear decals on the fins of gr.1 cars. I don't know why Polyphony chooses to make certain areas of certain vehicles screwy, but for some reason, the fins don't work. I tried once, but gave up. Aligned with car, the decal becomes invisible, aligned with camera, it skews like crazy. I tried doing a GR010, but had to give up. Texture decals might work, but if you need a small/clear decal, it's near impossible it seems.

Played around and this came out last week.
Immediately did a couple more variations off course.
I used stencil/cutout decals for the first time because I wanted them to be gold and then based everything around the sponsor stickers.
Not as easy as i thought it would be.

I am concidering to go with Ferrari in the coming Manufacturers World Series. So, as usual thinking about a livery which should be similar for both the gr. 3 and the gr. 4 but really lacking inspiration so far.
After to much time trying different designs I decided to go for something simple, and tried to make it a bit 'classy', so ended up with the below livery, still a work of progress:
There is still a lot of empty space on the vehicles sides but have no real idea if and what to add. If any of you got some suggestions?

Got a quick question.
I'm having problems trying to paint around the front wing of the SF23 Super Formula in the livery editor for making an F1 livery but the game refuses to let me put a sponser decal on the front side wing plate or even colour it.
I've tried both camera options and it won't show anything here, does anyone have any ideas or something I missed in settings?
This is the plate I'm referring to and it's clearly coloured in the stock livery...

try altering the angle limit and depth limit, hope that helps...
add: And assume it has to be done in the category 'others'!?

Weird. I have no problem painting it or put decals on it from any angle. Tried out, after seeing your post. Works as intended for me.

If we could just paint decals in special paints, this would have been a lot easier job.
If we could just paint helmets in special paints, this would have been a lot easier job.
If we could just preview helmet designs with our driver in a user selected car, this would have been a lot easier job.
It was not a very easy job, even though the design itself is really simple....

Another Mad Panda Livery, 2022 design this time. The real car has matte black over color change with shiny decals on top. In GT we need to compromise due to the limits of the editor, so I put semi gloss decals over the flip flop paint, it worked out pretty well I think.

One of those 'once and never again' jobs. A replication of the Lotus 97T '85 with negatives on a gold base. Almost 400 decals needed to get the job done.
Thanks, PD, for letting us paint the wrong section of the wheels and for lines to look like cardio graphics in some areas....... it really doesn't help.
I specifically left Ayrton Senna's name off, because this livery can't be perfected (wheel colour). But, to be grateful to the dead, I left a little twist on the nose. If you know, you know. 😉

Is anyone else with liveries that have ~150+ decals on the new AMG GT3 experiencing issues with the livery not loading, or just taking a lot longer than usual to load? Really hoping it’s just a common issue and not that my livery got corrupted.
