Obviously Sophy wont be implemented locally, the low resource algorithms Sophy produces will be though, and this will subsequently change the behaviour of the opponents. It doesn't have to be too complex just a rock paper scissors outcome for each corner depending on player behaviour attenuated to car stats / PP rating. I bet the tweaking of those algorithms is in constant flux as they add new content, and it will be some accomplishment to properly implement. I wonder what kind of weird aberrations occur when trying these algorithms out, would make for a good blooper reel I bet...
