I was wondering why I'm four seconds behind my friends in the IA-3 licence test - I may suck at rallying, but not THAT much. Unfortunately it wasn't my driving causing the problem.

11. Others
 - Fixed an issue wherein clearing all licence tests on wet surfaces would not award the Bronze trophy ‘Rain Royalty.’ Players who have already cleared the relevant tests can acquire the trophy by clearing the tests again;
 - The Race Demo displayed during Auto Demos has been changed to a Music Replay;
- Trolling players in dirt tests by providing inadequate tires;
 - Various other issues have been addressed.

"Fixed an issue with the weather for all race events"

Hopefully it no longer rains in every. Single. Event. And the cars are actually drivable in the rain. I haven't tested this yet.
This must just be your bad luck! I’ve had not much rain on any events. I’ve only actually had one where I should have changed from slicks 😂

this makes sence to me now.... had to turn the game off as i was getting soooo frustrated with this test and couldn't understand why i was unable to get any better than 2.7 seconds away from gold..

No way I had all my friends check it and its like this...
Laguna seca clubman 700 event to be exact
Yes way, I can assure you it hasn't changed on mine. Could be an isolated issue or something but it's not changed on mine.

The PS4 "white flash/exposure" bug when displaying the first of the two inside view of the selected car in the garage has been fixed (and that's great)... Also other view on details (like the front tire) seems to be better, previously some details on the side of the tire took like 1/2sec to appear.

Smoke and dust is so lowered now on PS5 this must be the worst thing they did it's just not right...

Tyre smoke and spray have been reduced by roughly 70-90%
I'm curious if this is related to the performance measuring videos that have come out. The PS5 tended to struggle with framerate in the wet races.

Edit: Can confirm that base PS4 also has reduced tire smoke.

This is what I suspect is the real reason as well. As frustrated as people are, "Listening to the vocal Minority" never occurred to me to be anywhere a logical reason as trying to solve potential performance issues on both platforms.

Didn't know if I'm the only one, but now, all IA tuned car run with the OEM wheels but on the small picture of them, they all have custom wheels.

I just don't understand everything was fine why remove one of the coolest things in game 😡
Again, it likely has to do with performance issues (Particularly with frame rate).

I’ve not seen it yet, bug I’m almost certain the tyre smoke is an improvement. It was very exaggerated, or at least too sudden anyway.

Edit: Ok, not an improvement. I still think it was exaggerated for low power cars though.

Doesn't make sense preformance was just fine with smoke also... it's just stupid as hell...
I played it since release and had no issues whatsoever on my PS5...
Could it be a bug introduced with yesterdays update, what's your opinion?

Thank goodness I wasn’t the only one that had that issue because I was so stressed out that it’s impossible to get gold. Hopefully they’ll address this as a bug.

They really fixed the handling and I'm really happy how it is now.

I testet a new Mazda Roadster with the lowest possible power.
