They fixed the Giulia in the Nurburgring race.

As weird and broken as it was, it did look kinda cool before

12. Controller
 - Engine startup sound and haptic vibration have been added when changing cars in the "Garage" while using a PlayStation®5 DualSense™ wireless controller.
I may be going mad but I don't remember the dual sense rumbling when changing to a new car and having the engine rev. Tried it with the new 911.
It is a documented change....

I really feel like the game is loading in between menus slower now. On a positive note it seems the torrential rain weather effects seem to be reverted to like they used to because on Nurb GP it was pretty insane with a custom race with torrential rain.

I noticed that, too. In GT Auto also the car takes more time to show up. I was already washing it when the car finally appeared

New Porsche decals with the shield, in black and white. Before, we only had the “Porsche” logo.
Not quite sure about that. My 911 GT1 has had a white shield + text decal since the day I bought and liveried it, and it's the blue one that I think was the first colour of it to be available something like a year ago.

I could be wrong, but it seems that the roulette tickets system is improved and that is more likely (chances wise) to give better rewards, now. Did anyone notice that since the 1.29 update?

I noticed the same when I did my bulk ticket opening today. Won 1 million credits from a 4-star ticket twice. Hard to say whether the odds actually changed or it was luck though.

I had bought the first blue one as well. Liveries plenty Porsches and never noticed the two alt decals.

Think might be. Had a 3 star daily ticket yesterday, only got 5,000
And a 4 daily ticket today and got 500,000
Not had anything that big for months.
Percentage wise it's been the lowest amount

My roulette ticket from this morning was a 3 star 10K. Not improved for me!

I think I got 3 tickets and the minimum prize for all of them, including a 5 Star from the Café.

Car Info only Display added
That's a setting in the UI since day one.

When I saw cars leaving front tire marks in the grave at GVH I thought they maybe now also do that in the rain.
I can confirm that they don't :banghead:

I haven't had time to test it more thoroughly, but I think there may have been some changes to the dynamic clouds - at least on certain tracks.

For instance, on the Sardegna 800 event it seems to have different cloud formations than before the update. Specifically, I've done this race at least a hundred times and the clouds are almost always roughly the same. There are small white clouds in a clear sky, and in some races they will cover the sun for 5-10 seconds and everything goes a bit darker until it passes.

After the update, however, I noticed that at some point during the race there was a massive dark grey cloud looming over the mountain to the north. There were also several two instances during the race where for an entire lap a cloud would cover the sun, causing it to be dark for an extended period. I've never encountered this for so long before before, so it could be a result of a change.

Has anyone else noticed any new weather-related oddities?

Ahh, never mind then I see they are retroactively updating their site as it wasn't there earlier.

Yeah, it's new, but they kinda screwed it up. It doesn't just take off the opponents list and laptimes list, it also doesn't flash your lap time each lap nor does it show time remaining in timed races like le mans. Those are kinda important.
Agreed, but it's great for immersion on longer races (esp. Spa 1h in my case). Maybe a "minimal race info" setting (with just lap time and remaining time in timed races) would be useful, or the adility to display/hide race info with a button press.

Undocumented changes I noticed so far:

Scape mode:
when you move a car around, the suspension moves a little, almost like you're picking up and putting down a toy car.
Hard to describe and a subtle effect, but also kinda cute. I didn't notice this before the update and am pretty sure it was added with 1.29.

Spa 1h event:
wet road reflections appear to have been overhauled/toned down significantly, especially noticeable with the floodlights and AI cars head/taillights.
Also, they fixed the glitch where the whole road (even in front of you) would light up red when braking while in chase cam.

Maybe somebody else who is familiar with the Spa 1h event could check out if I'm imagining things?

General graphics:
draw distance appears to be changed a bit, tree pop out in the rear view mirror appears to have been improved, but is still very noticeable esp. on the Mulsane straight on LeMans.

Also, I'm under the impression that the contrast of objects in the middle distance has been improved, making them appear more vivid and 3D like. This may be subjective though as I've played around with a few setting on my TV around the time the update dropped.

Can you tell me how they toned it down significantly? also did they fixed the laggy lights wet reflections when moving?
personally i didn't tested the Spa after the update yet , but i will check for the changes

Toned down as in darker and less prominent. Reflections are still a bit jerky, but do not lag nearly as much as before. I'd say refresh/redraw rate (not sure about the technical term) went up significantly, at least 3-4 times.

I have a video from before the update and will try an capture another one from 1.29 and post both to highlight the changes later today if I got the time. :)

Now i wonder if they fixed something in Le Mans with the wet reflections too - mainly it sometimes the road is flashing
