The Renault 4 makes somewhat sense given we got other european classics. Yet, it's hardly a priority, both as Renaults go, and as classics.

The Evo IX was to be expected at some point, and a completely different gen than we have in the game. The TTS is fine, but underwhelming, given that instead of updating the TTS, they could instead get the TT-RS of that same generation.

Renault 4 is nice surprise and would perfectly fit as fun meme car, Evo IX was missing one to fill Lancer lineup but TT is the biggest dissapointment for me as Audi lineup was crying for some variety in shape of RS wagon.
Looks like Audi hairdressers loby is strongest.

So there is February update after all? Nice 👍

Audi TT - nice addition, especially now that Forza Motorsport left Mk2 behind
Lancer Evo IX - finally! Better late than never, I guess
Renault 4 - cool car... but I can't see myself using it in this game. Too slow even for Classic Sunday Cup, I'm afraid (it's fun in Forza Horizon 5 though)

Anyway, it's much better set of cars than the last one :P
Hope PD will add one new race track too 🤞 ;)

Looking back, that there's been no 2000s-era Evos in GT for nearly a decade feels really weird. The Evo IX is filling one of the biggest remaining holes in the roster for me. Now give us an Evo (or Evo vs Impreza) menu book please, PD!

The Renault is a neat little car to go with the pretty decent roster of entry level '60s road cars, the Sunday Cup Classic is getting pretty diverse. No complaints here either, seems like a fine addition.

Will admit I probably won't ever use the Audi, but it's not a bad car or anything, just not one that interests me.

Another update I won't bother with. The Renault 4 is a car I already know I will never drive, unless they cheaply make me do it for a weekly event. The TT would've been cool if it was the newer TT RS, but it's another cheap GT6 port, so it's underwhelming. Not even either RS6 Avant from GT6. That would've been better than the TT, especially considering the station wagon drought the game has. The only good things I can say about the Evo IX are that people can finally shut up about it not being in the game, and that I can now complete my Apex Glide collection. Props if you know where Apex Glide comes from. Overall, like last month, terrible offerings, hoping for next month to be good, because this ain't good.

At this point, I'm hoping the engine swaps can give me a good time, since the engine swaps in the last update (another weak and forgettable update) are actually very good. I'm still holding out for the 991.1 RSR engine in the 996 GT3.

Why all the hate for the TTS? It fills a gap that has been missing since launch day, as does the Evo too.

The Renault 4 is the one I am surprised is getting so much love. Honestly I find the car goofy looking and its performance specs mean unless it has a really ott engine swap it is another useless car.

It has bags of character and will be lovely in VR. And honestly, there's no such thing as a useless car provided you play multiplayer, I've driven literally everything in online lobbies. I wish they'd show the feature some extra love but that's where you go if you want to enjoy racing all the cool quirky cars that GT has to offer.

If the predicted cars end up being what they are - a Renault 4, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII/IX, and a 2nd-gen Audi TT - then I'm pretty sure I have an idea of what Extra Menus we could expect.

There'd be one featuring Renault in general, with the Renault 4 being one of them. I'd imagine the other two could be picked between the R5 Turbo, the newer Megane, the Clio V6, or maybe one of the newer Clio models - perhaps even the RS01.

The other seems a lot more obvious, being all about the Audi TT. All three generations would be represented, though I can't rule out the Gr.4-spec TT Cup racer being included.

As for the new races that'd potentially feature the new cars, I could see there being a Sunday Cup Classic round for the Renault 4, a European Clubman Cup 400 for the Audi TT, and a Japanese 4WD 600 round for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - whichever iteration it ends up being.

Of course, we could still get Extra Menus and new races that don't necessarily correlate with the new content. I, for one, was still waiting on a Lamborghini-themed Extra Menu.

EDIT: The engine swaps are anyone's guess, but I'd love to see the GR Corolla/GR Yaris engine available for the Sprinter Trueno.

Another shockingly poor monthly update.

There's little doubt PD are holding back quality content and feeding the community with the scraps they have left over.

A Renault that's little more than a meme car and perhaps of interest to livery creators.

Quite possibly the dullest Audi produced since the turn of the century. All while they could give us classics like the RS2 Avant or latest RS6 Avant.

Then we have the Evo IX. A great car but certainly shouldn't be prioritised over the Escort RS Cosworth, Peugeot 205 GTI, Nissan Sunny GTI-R and so on. Just a bizarre decision.

God forbid we actually get an updated roster of racecars. It's getting embarrassing for PD with their GTWS events to have certain cars that haven't been on track (at the top level) for the best part of a decade. We're at a point where every major Sim(cade) title is now adding the latest Hypercars and GT3's. Yet PD is still stuck in 2016 with it's racecar line-up. They aren't even current with the homegrown Super GT series!
