The Volvo is not the "full" T5. The one on the update is the 2,0 l one, not the spec comparable to the third gen Focus ST. Bummer.

At least the Civic is right.

I have only tried a couple of times, but I don't think a Lemans 700 win in the Volvo 240 is going to happen. Not without some exceptionally lucky weather...

The V40 is a tad disappointing to be honest. It has the 2.0 5-pot instead of the more powerful 2.5 found in most markets. Not only that, but the sound is way off. Especially when tuned, it sounds like a garden variety 4 cylinder.

The whole point of a 5-cylinder engine is that awesome sound.

Still, it drives great even with 450bhp and looks awesome. So there's that!

The new WTC 800 race at St. Croix is the first one to ever use Layout A – almost feels like a new track!
If my record keeping is correct, also looks like the first race for the short version of Autopolis?

I have been able to buy every single car without any microtransactions, and I still get 93M in the bank while playing occasionally, I don't get how you guys are playing...
Given that you need at least 1 hour to get 1 million, and you bought ~400M of cars (counting on the fact you won all cars that are possible to win) maybe you bought more, maybe you bought parts for tuning and so on, and still have 93M.

Even if you are the type of driver who gets gold easily at each TT and who golded all CE without spending hours and hours, you still need a good chunk of playtime.

How many hours of "occasionnal" play do you have ? What's your schedule in general ?

Tried that race tonight with the new NSX, this layout is really awful. But the car is really nice.

I played 660h, and I bought the game day one, so it's less than one hour a day.
I used the Tokyo and Daytona "glitch" when I could and the NSX GrB ticket bug, so it was for sure easier. Circuit experience, missions, Time trial etc give a lot of money. The menu cars gifted, a bit of luck in Roulette ticket... But I also did the LeMans 30min a lotttttt of time, so even without the glitch it's possible... Obviously you wouldn't have 93M left, but at least very close enough to buy every car.

This game lack of high paying/grinding races of course, but seriously, I have been able to buy every single car without any microtransactions, and I still get 93M in the bank while playing occasionally, I don't get how you guys are playing...
Let me ask you the question:
How do you play to get 93M in your bank ?
Mine is always at 900 ...

Please share your workflow and secret...
What am I not doing correctly??

As I said, I used the early grind glitch on Tokyo and Daytona. So obviously I won a lot of money. But without it, I would still be close to like 1M left (after buying every car). I have bought every car I needed for collection, then every race/driving money I receved was bonus

That's... not very generous for a collection of cars worth 5+ million Cr...
It could have been a parts ticket :yuck:

More disappointing are the payouts for the Japanese FR and WTC 800 races. Less than 600,000 Cr./hour for the former and less than 700,000 Cr./hour for the latter (at least with competitive racing) is beyond pitiful.

660h is not what I would describe as occasionnaly 😅

plus you used every glitch in the book, grinded and so on

Well to answer your first question about "how you guys are playing", just imagine people who do not grind, do not use glitches and that are not talented enough to get decent rewards from TT, CEs, missions, who do not play every day. And you'll have a better idea of the possible reasons.

-If you think 30 to 45min a day is hardcore gaming then sure.
-I would still be able to get each car in the game without using any glitches. And of course economy is destroyed, but LeMans 30min or Spa 1h are one of the most fun race in the game, doesn't even feel like grinding (and didn't know it was a bad thing to do...)
I get easily all these reasons, but you don't have to be talented to get what you want in this game, saying it's impossible is a lie. Bronze in TT or CEs are easy to get, and would give 250k and like 300k each... You can't expect to get everything without playing (but the economy needs a big rework).

In to the site and in the section "Content Search" they haven't add the new cars!!!!
Another success from PD crew that after 2+ years and we can't see our complete collection of liveries

I was against the return of wagons before this update. But 1.48 changed my mind, I won't complain if the Volvo 240 isn't the last one to come. I won't jump either but ehh.. Let them come.

Why haven’t they done this for the jaguar book. Feels like i’ve been waiting forever for the e type to come back in to the LCD
For me the better question is; Why can't the reward for every extra menu be like the Jaguar menu where it rewards a car that's actually double the investment cost? Apart from the E-type Jaguar, none of the extra menus are worth doing unless you already had plans to buy said car(s) or enjoy getting an earful from Luca. Their reward(s) are simply not worth the investment which honestly is just bad game design.

Would be cool, if a reward car was only obtainable via Menu Book reward, but perhaps it might be a bad idea...I just like other ways of getting a car, besides simply buying it with credits

Who said anything about hardcore ?

Ooooh so much credits 😅

Who asked for everything without playing ?

You asked how guys are playing, I gave you hints, and you seem perfectly aware of the issues with the economy, the fact that it does not bother you does not mean it can't bother other people.

Not sure @nickf1gr was 100% serious with his post, but I understand his frustration.

If my record keeping is correct, also looks like the first race for the short version of Autopolis?

Also the first event at Lago Maggiore West.

But these are just short versions of a well-established track. St. Croix A diverges quite a bit from the other layouts, and I'm sure 9 out of 10 players are totally unfamiliar with it.

Guys, I'm hearing some beeping sound while driving the GTS-R and the temp gauge is all the way to the hottest side. Anyone has a clue about what does this mean? Are they implementing something I'm missing here?

Update: Just learned it has a speed alarm built-in.

There was another with the same rev limiter alarm too, I can't remember which now, another Japanese

Charles de Gaulle is a nuclear powered aircraft carrier named after a French statesman.

There was an online time trial that used the 917k. The prize for participation was a 917k in the livery we have on the Living Legend. The was also a tine trial for the $20M Ferrari.
Do you need PSN+ or whatever it's called these days to enter these events?

I forgot to record the names but new colour chips were added for Audi, Chevrolet, Genesis and Lamborghini.

(I bought all of the Real Car Colour chips a month or two ago which is why I noticed).

Audi got a few new colours which looked like they would be from the 80s era. Chevy got a few 60s/70s looking colours. Genesis got just the bright orange and Lamborghini got just one new colour.

Sorry I was already well into buying them before I thought about recording the names of them.

I wonder if new colours get added ahead of a new car coming along? Just made me wonder with the type of colours that were added for Audi and Chevrolet.

The datamine does show the Audi Sport Quattro road car. If you can, google the colour chart for (I think)1984-1986 Audi Sport Quattro and see if that colour is the latest one you bought.
