So I bought the Skyline, widebody'd it and put basically every mod on it. The car is nearly undriveable at this point. It snaps on oversteer at the drop of a hat. Incredibly twitchy and not fun to drive.

Anyone else experiencing this? I'm wondering if maybe they programmed this car's coding wrong and it needs to be patched, lol.

You probably have to play around with the settings. I usually start with the LSD then go from there. I bought 2 and drove one stock. It seemed slow to me but it handled well.

I tried messing a bit with the suspension and aero. Its a very weird feeling car when it lets go, not like anything else I can recall. Like when the back end lets loose there is absolutely no recovering from it....almost feels like steering inputs are gone and its on rails right off the track.

Pretty awesome to have one of my cars in GT7. My SiR-II is a '94, but they were identical.

Couple of quick thoughts:
Hard to say as far 100% because it's an LSD car and mine isn't as far as corner exit traction, but the woolen floatiness is correct, power delivery flat spot is dead on, induction sound is pretty accurate to.

I noticed this too. It feels a lot like how RR cars did before the first major patch. You'd try and take a corner with a decent amount of turning angle and the thing would slingshot away from the track.

If you are having issues coming out of curves you can do a couple of things if you're using a manual transmission user a higher gear or you feather the gas a little bit coming out of the curve until you are pointed in the direction you want to go. Those 2 things have helped me with a lot of cars. Sometimes I forgot and end up in a wall though 🤣🤣🤣

I was against the return of wagons before this update. But 1.48 changed my mind, I won't complain if the Volvo 240 isn't the last one to come. I won't jump either but ehh.. Let them come.
Why would you be against the return of wagons? I would much rather see wagons being added than SUVs/crossovers.
In Livery editor, there is a B type lights cover for Civic - amber blinkers. Didn't know that's a thing for road cars.
Yeah I noticed that as well. For the Volvo 240 it's the opposite, it has an option for clear blinkers.

I wonder if there are more cars with this that I haven't noticed before?

Edit: The MB 190E Evolution II has an option for clear blinkers too.

The majority of players don't play online.

A BoP category can work offline as a new class as well. It would benefit the people who just want to plug and play and don't want to have to navigate endless menus to dial a car in.

It gives players a different way to play the game rather than the current state of adding five cars to the sandbox.

So, is there a way to get the other OEM colors on the Civic? Or I have to wait until it shows up again in the UCD? I really need that turquoise color and I couldn't find it in GT Autos manufacturer paints selection

We usually have to wait for a next update. However... depending on the brand there may be a similar colour available with a different manufacturer.
I've only seen it with Ruf, but the colours from the IROC 930 race cars are actually in the Ruf colour chart. Those same colours are also in the livery editor swatches(obviously without names, but match perfectly).

Might also be able to replicate it by snapping a photo of the colour in your Style and trying to match in livery editor under metallic until the colour is added. Maybe I'll try that later.

Last night I drove the NSX, Civic and 240 and it was a lot of fun. Each car serves a different purpose and being able to sample them in a game with great physics, great graphic fidelity and good sounds is the best thing. The NSX is a fully-built racecar which found glory and fame at the top level of Japanese motorsport, the EG Civic is a beloved little hatchback with a cult following and the 240 is a classic family hauler that's been a part of soo many people's lives. These are the cars that we want to see. It's not about the numbers, it's about the emotional attachment that we have when driving the vehicles that inspired us or carried us to places near and far. This is why I cannot detach myself from GT. It's the reason why I've been a fan and player of the franchise for 17 years. No matter what happens, or what new games come out, I keep coming back because the game represents soo much for me. Last night was a reminder of that and I couldn't be happier. Meow.

Been loving the Volvo, playing around with not doing that much tuning but simply enjoying the car for what it is. Oh what I wouldnt give to take it on a nice road trip!

A bit of a random question, but since every update log brings a list of Car Designer comments added at the Café, is there a full list somewhere, including the ones from the base game? I tried looking it up but I dont think I"m doing the keywording well

I've finally tested some new cars. It feels great to have rarely seen in games "everyday cars" like Volvo 240 and Honda Civic EG in Gran Turismo once again. Now if only the game had proper Gran Turismo career mode to make good use of these models...

I must also repeat my wish for customizable cockpit camera. Default views for these new cars are either too low (Volvo V40), or too high (Skyline), or too close to the windshield (basically every single car in the game).

I can't believe Kaz really doesn't care about immersion at all (the same goes for customizable HUD)...

Guys, I'm hearing some beeping sound while driving the GTS-R and the temp gauge is all the way to the hottest side. Anyone has a clue about what does this mean? Are they implementing something I'm missing here?

Update: Just learned it has a speed alarm built-in.
I was wondering what that sound is too. Thanks for enlightening me :D

This game lack of high paying/grinding races of course, but seriously, I have been able to buy every single car without any microtransactions, and I still get 93M in the bank while playing occasionally, I don't get how you guys are playing...

Well look at my game stat and you see me lacking 100 ish cars for comptetion mostly VGT so....

I forgot to record the names but new colour chips were added for Audi, Chevrolet, Genesis and Lamborghini.

(I bought all of the Real Car Colour chips a month or two ago which is why I noticed).

Audi got a few new colours which looked like they would be from the 80s era. Chevy got a few 60s/70s looking colours. Genesis got just the bright orange and Lamborghini got just one new colour.

Sorry I was already well into buying them before I thought about recording the names of them.

I wonder if new colours get added ahead of a new car coming along? Just made me wonder with the type of colours that were added for Audi and Chevrolet.
Skoda and volvo dont appear in the manufacturer color chips,,,,, maybe in future update :gtpflag:

Yeah. That V40 T5 comes with a Caspian Blue Metallic I want for all my cars. That's a gorgeous blue. I do hope they add that in to the paint chips. Soon.
