Does anyone watch Australian Supercar racing? Has @MrDonovan ever been?

The last 4 laps of this race are worth watching all the way thru (starting at 11:35mark). Some amazing racing and race craft including the "redress" incident. As I understand it this redress process is similar to what F1 now does where they give teams the chance to make a concession before the stewards step in and assess a penalty. Worth watching all the way to the finish.

That side drafting was masterful! 0.030!

A question came up in practice lobby tonight regarding OB at the last chicane and the pylon. Two wheels on the curbing per requirement means I’m normally center punching the pylon with my grill. This is legal correct? Below is an extreme example where I’m literally on the edge.

From what I can read in the SNAIL OLR:

Nurburgring GP - At the right hand portion of the final chicane, no tires are allowed on the green area beyond the rumble strips. This coincides with the pylon that is placed and is not meant to be struck.

For Sunday night rules, yes, the above note is to be observed.
However, for our series, I allow more stretching of the boundaries. For this series, two wheels must remain on the red/white checkered curbing or inside the white line where not curbing is present. With that said, striking the pylon does not constitute and oob violation unless all 4 wheels go into the grass/green. I will warn, however, that these curbs are very agressive and do unsettle the cat quite a bit.
