It’s not a Unimog, but last month I posted this in the Trucks thread. Who’da thunk we’d get a Mercedes-Benz truck?

Hold on…
Funny I posted this a little while back.

So far, two out of these four cars are in the game(A GR Yaris is in, but not the 6MT nor auto-trans update[yet ;) ]. It’s nearly five years old, time for a new one). That AMG isn’t too far of field.
The R35 arrived in October 2024. The Ioniq N in January. Maybe the AMG GLC63 arrives in April along with the updated Yaris(wouldn’t surprise me if the A90 Final Edition gets added during that time as well). Just in time for a new season of Gazoo Racing E-Motorsports, which usually begin in April.

Call me “That’s a long Stretch” Armstrong.:sly:

What a fun silhouette reveal.

Honestly, I’d be surprised if the center car isn’t a Daihatsu midget or something, it’s a car that’s been in multiple titles, and it would fit perfectly in kei cup.

I'm waiting for the Ford GT90 to make it's return. It was on Gran Turismo 2. Maybe they'll eventually add the Ford Indigo too though that wasn't ever in any Gran Turismo game.

Car choice is a bit meh for me personally but any update is welcome,im more interested in what engine swaps and other stuff we get to be honest.
Fingers crossed they dont alter the PP again too much, finally finished updating my cars since the last PP change.

Nice selection of cars, but I hope that Jordan was refering to something more than cars when he posted his video.
Maybe they are going to increase the credits for winning races.Maybe......... 👍

I'm definitly surprised. Wasn't expecting an update this month.
BMW Z4 is the one I'll likely use the most.
Peugeot 205 gti is a nice adition, but I dont have many situations where I'll use it. A very similar situation to last month's civic.
Unimog: I'm between "wow" and "why?"

Also, I just want to note: Zero Japanese cars, zero cars that fit into existing model lines, a returning Premium car in the Z4 after multiple updates of the cars being new-to-series, and no 2010s/2020s cars after almost all of the recent updates having one.

This set of cars breaks basically every update trend that had been building over 2024. Which is why trying to predict PD at all is a foolhardy endeavour.

I understand that the spirit of Gran Turismo also includes driving cars that aren't necessarily sports cars, but I just can't be happy about this update (unless they announce a new track as well). I play GT7 because it's the only way I can enjoy VR in good quality without spending several thousand euros on a high-end PC, and I now find the lack of new GT3 and GT4 cars extremely limiting. I'm not asking for the Ferrari 296, but at least the 488, which is already 10 years old.

Honestly, I really like how GT7 car roster keeps being an absolute random car encyclopedia. Hopefully those 3D-models are really good and can be used for many more years, eventually resulting in an over 2000 cars roster with all kind of cars, from first ever Benz automobile to latest modern hypercars. Cars from all over the world and all over the years. I think this is what Kaz is going for and I'm all in for it.
The Z4 could come from the same data as GT5/6 - the scans back then of the premium cars were good enough, even if the assets that were created from them weren’t

the only link for this update: French car
peugeot 205 /02/2025
Renault 4 / 02/2024
citroen ds /02/2023
and the gt sport 1.56 update > February 27, 2020 (5 years)

Why not have Sophy in the week's races.
There are now enough circuits compatible with sophy .

EDIT: But as the week's races are sometimes more than three laps long... that would mean that...sophy might....
No, I'd rather not think about that.

I don't know, we will see.

Jesus christ… i think we will only see the newer GT3 and LMH cars in GT8 . (Aston Vantage GT3, 296GT3, Huracan EVO2, 911 992 GT3R, C8 Z06 GT3, BMW M4 GT3, Mustang GT3) and all LMH cars, we only have the toyota! If pd dont have the license they should bring fictional versions, like the C7 GT3 at least. The game has a big competitive aspect, to be honest, it's a shame that we have to race with such dated cars, like the 458GT3, M6GT3 M3 from 2011, Porsche 911 from 7 years ago
