And in what is it different than any update ? He should not hint like this for a "standard" update with 3 cars. It is misleading.

I am not saying there is more (I would love to, but I don't think there is more), I say he should not say that about a standard update.

Apparently the Unimog is in the legend car dealership. Would have expected it to just be in the UCD.
The Z4 is in both brand central and UCD. I don't remember any previous update car being in both.
205 is UCD only which makes sense.

After rewatching it, whatever he thought was coming clearly didn't come in this patch. Theres no way he says that the way he says it when hes just referring to a Unimog. So no, I don't think people are crazy here.

But, there is of course no reason to be mad or anything at Jordan, for whatever reason, regardless of what he meant.

Just watched it again. You're right he did not say the latter part. I misremembered.

All the 2001-2010 cars added have been in both Brand Central and the UCD, with the exception of the LFA, which I'm assuming was originally intended to be an invite-only car.

• '03 Z4 3.0i (E89) - new!
• '04 Lancer Evo VIII MR GSR
• '04 WRX STi (GD "Blobeye") - first car to have this treatment
• '06 Lancer Evo IX MR
• '07 430 Scuderia
• '08 Gallardo
• '09 TTS

EDIT: Tree'd, but I think the reason LFA wasn't in UCD was because of it being too expensive (priced at Cr. 1,000,000).

He really spread big expectations with this claim for the next update (the upcoming February one).

Probably not. But judging that there's still a a new season about to start in April, tells me that they like to inflict their own frustrations more than necessary.

lol yes. He was obviously referring to the Unimog. The idea that someone on the dev team would hop onto a forum and tease something in an update that's days away from release and then that thing would get removed from the update is laughable.

That's a matter of opinion. If you have an expectation to like every car in the game then you should stick to games with a small number of cars. Any game with a lot of variety is going to disappoint you.

Sure. But on the other hand we do have GR3 and GR4 cars from a whole bunch of brands. How many estate cars do we have? One. If anything they should add more of those.

We have had at least 3-4 new additions to the GR3 and GR4 cars since the release. And about a dozen race cars that doesn't belong to those groups.

Compare that to the one estate car we have.

The "probably" in there is the kicker. Whatever it is supposed to be, it doesn't have to be in the "next" update.

What dev was teasing a thing days away on a forum? The track dev on Reddit? It didn't look like he was teasing anything or implying anything was coming in the next update.

Just as @Famine related elsewhere, if I recall correctly, he heard about a car coming from someone on the press side and a presumed time it would be added. In the end, the car was added, but it wasn't when the person thought. This situation could be as simple as that. To be clear here, this was not in relation to this patch. Just some other patch at some point in GTs history.

I dunno why people think this is all so complicated. Jordan may have heard something about B-Spec or something coming, we don't know exactly what, and maybe a month, two, or farther back, it sounded like it was coming around the Feb update.. and then it didn't because that's development and things change
