We may get new and returning Stellantis cars.

That is if Stellantis' marketing department (?) can get their 🤬 together.

Two ”new” AMG GTS and a “new” livery variation for the GT3 car. Surely the AMG GT4 has to be coming.

Hopefully one day one of these:

Alpine A110 Gr. 4
KTM X-Bow Gr.4
Lotus Elise
Ford GT40 Mk II
Aston Martin DBS
Alfa Romeo Montreal
Alfa Romeo Guilia Bertone Coupé
Alfa Romeo GTV
Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/ Stradale
Renault Sport Spider
Lancia Hyena
Jaguar Mk II
Jaguar XJR-15

Feel like this pair would produce great racing:

Given that so much of the current car and track list is carried over from GTS or older games I really hope the first few updates contain 100% new, fresh content, to really invigorate the game. Nothing like driving a completely new car on a completely new track.

Then they move back to re-adding old stuff.

Time trials with every car and track combo with world leaderboards a la Driveclub ( which has never been bettered ) would MAYBE tempt me to hunt for a PS5

Who said anything about a year? I'm just saying it'd be nice if the first couple of updates focused on new stuff. In terms of cars it wouldn't even to be 100% new I guess, maybe 8 new / 2 returning per pack or something.

It's really tracks that I'm aching for new stuff anyway. Still can't believe GT7 has zero totally new tracks, an unfortunate first for the series.

Noone did, it's just you said few and that sounded more like at least 5-7 months versus a couple of months. That and I thought of a year because I don't think the dlc car count will be as big as GT Sport's first year. Mainly because in GT Sport, PD didn't have to spend extra time modeling body kits or other visual part options. Now though, they do and are expected to after the customization they demonstrated.

but if it's just for a couple months, then I guess I would be okay with that. but I really want the GT-ONE to come back.

Sure, I'd like the TS020 back as well at some point but I'd prefer some new metal first is all. Like I said originally, there is nothing like driving new cars on new tracks in a new game for that fresh feeling.

Whereas if the first update was 80% returning cars and Apricot Hill I'd be slightly less enthused. Returning stuff is still always appreciated, but you can't beat that new car/track smell!

I somewhat agree. I'd love to see PD whip up a new, more unique original circuit, like a tight city track or another mountain path circuit (Japanese touge stage please!)

Awesome :)

I'm probably alone in this and I know it doesn't make sense in the context of racing but I wish there were more everyday 4-door models of Mazda3, civic, focus, corolla, jetta, yaris, sentra, optima etc. I can dream.
