Gran Turismo 7's Next "Big" Update is Coming This Week: Adds Seven New Cars

If this ends up just being 7 cars then that's not a Big Update. Nice but I want tracks over cars right now. Doesn't even have to be big name tracks. Lots of tracks around the world that are nice and shouldn't be a licensing nightmare.

It does if in Kaz's mind "big" is that 7 > 3 for new cars :)
 
Maby i'm one of the few but i can't wait to get my hands on the GT3 RS, but i think all these cars are a good addition to the game, no complaining here, and maby we get more, maby we don't, would love to have some more difficult races to win single, cause i'm kind of only Timetrial minded for now, keeps me busy enough tho with those fast boys here. :lol:

But let's hope they have something good on the stove, we will know very soon :lol:

In fairness, 7 cars is the most cars we've got and it is therefore a big update, no matter how aggrieved and neglected the fan base acts about it. It's absolutely possible 7 cars is the meat of the new update (especially considering it is a fairly popular selection overall), and all these other hopes and dreams people are getting hyped up over are really nothing other than disappointment fuel.

People bang on about PD's failure to communicate, they seem much less interested in managing their own expectations.

Yeah but telling people to calm down because they're exciting for an update is nonsense, that attitude needs to take a hike.

It's a case of "I'm not having fun, so no one else is allowed"
 
My gut tells me there’s a new track with some alternative layouts in this update. I’ve listed other things which I consider fixing oversights that somehow got built into the game. I’m not getting my hopes up for those even though imo it would significantly improve the game.

I agree with you 💯 .

At least 1-2 tracks and Sophy would be amazing IMO. Not even a full implementation of Sophy is required, just something to add variety/replayability to the game. I'd be interested in learning more tracks if the AI wasn't trash.

I would have thought that by now it would have gone into a bit more detail about the update if any extras were arriving. Or am I imagining things?

Not really, we will know tomorrow with the trailer if a new track is coming, but for any other content is always reveal with the patch notes, unless something get leak as the update with the physics change that got leak days prior.

Seriously. GT made half of these real-world tracks famous. They don't need to grab the big Marquee tracks when there are lots of underrated cheap real-world tracks out there that drivers love. Not to mention private courses that some luxury clubs run.

Cool! This should meet my needs for the next six months. The existing 3,000 Scapes are no longer enough for me, as I have more than 5,000 photos. ;)

Seriously. GT made half of these real-world tracks famous. They don't need to grab the big Marquee tracks when there are lots of underrated cheap real-world tracks out there that drivers love. Not to mention private courses that some luxury clubs run.

They could dump all their original tracks on us including kart space and I would be blown away by that. Sure I like real course too, but at the end of the day, if the track is good who cares if it exists in real life. We had so much fun running carts and lower pp cars on autumn ring mini. Autumn itself was a super fun track too. I was underwhelmed by the tracks when I first got the game on release. First thought was, where’s all the tracks?!

Fond memories of pushing K cars to their limits on Kart Space in GT5. 😄

given the dearth of content upgrades in the last 6 months, I honestly can't believe even kaz would consider 7 over 4 cars to be a BIG update! let him prove me wrong...

in fairness, bull****!!! 7 cars is not BIG, it is an apology for the crep that we've received in the last 3 months.... now lets see what BIG actually means...
