Do you guys think the 992 GT3RS will be under 700PP on racing hards?

Yes, it will. You're going to have to add some ballast and potentially restrict power.

The only road car in the game that you cannot tune to under PP700 on RH is the Valkyrie.

I love the rollercoaster of emotions of this October Holiday update has brought us and I’m stoked to have been entertained on GTPlanet all day!

Pessimism for the win!

Since I get all my racing requirements from Forza Motorsport Free Play I'm in the unusual position of simply accepting the next update for what it is. Nice.

PSVR2 time delta information is my #1 feature need

e: if this is all we got and no cars, i would unironically be yelling "HUGE UPDATE" its that big of a need
We need a metric butt ton of likes on that feature. Metric. Butt. Ton.

you can't see any time deltas in PSVR2. for example, delta to previous best lap in time trials or delta to people in front of or behind you in races

basically sense of smell is just as good as any to determine if you're gaining or losing ground when you have a VR headset on

I don't think they will change this, like ever.

Its almost the same as only having the rear mirror in the bumper view.

Kaz has a purist reason for that, and I guess he also has one for the current VR hud.

But I do hope I'm wrong. I sold my VR cause of this (and the motion sickness, which I didn't bother to go through since I would still have the incomplete HUD)

A fully customizable HUD in general would make this a "big" update for me.

For example, an actual tach with numbers in any view so I don't have to guesstimate shift RPMs. Or turning off the useless "optimal gear" indicator. Or turning off the "car you just passed" popup that blocks the view of the right side mirror.

This doesn't make any sense to me at all?

It's not like I'm asking for a HUD to be added to VR, it's literally one additional data item for the already existing VR HUD that is already in the normal HUD.

Also, motion sickness isn't a permanent insurmountable thing. I had motion sickness that I trained away with my Quest 2 by doing short bursts of play. Today I have zero issues with motion sickness including playing hardcore roomscale stuff like BoneLab. Can play any game for hours.

Chill out. I dont "expect" it to be. It's just that before this update I was sceptic about adding new cars by PD since there was stated that they are making one car around 6 months? Now I see they could add atleast more 2022 cars. Maybe not 296 but there is chance for more nice 2022-2023 cars.

I am just very positive to see a compeletely new car which is also a first time added in the game.

BTW. When do we usually see more details about the update? I know the trailer should be tomorrow, but wasn't there any description on GT site with more details? I am just excited about this one, and curious is there any feature more.
The six month time scale, is misleading, what was said that on average it takes 3 months of man hours to make a car, 6 months for a VGT, (through this was referring to the Gr3 fantasy cars they take twice as long Kaz said this before GTS, )

So 3 months, 480 hours, this is divided by the number of people working on each model, Three people would result in a car a month, PD has 255 employees having 30 modelling would not be outrageous.

The 6 month per car is just an perpetual snow balling myth. The key phrasebof man hours, which is an often used phrase in engineering and IT.

Exactly. I've seen a documentary where it says an airliner needs 50,000 hours (~6 years for a single person, working 24/7) to build while a nuclear submarine needs 14 million hours (1598 years for a single person, working 24/7). But people just don't understand that it's man hours and it's hundreds if not thousands of people working on it*.

(*obviously not in this case with PD)

I hope that there will be at least 1 track added, Autumn Ring is likely
Autumn Ring sounds like a huge blow to the hype.

I think it's gonna be something more grand, or then PD throw us two tracks, as this update also brings a record 7 cars.

It's a way of monitoring, predicting costs, and used for planning, X job takes 150 hours, how quick do you need it done,

I would guess that a car has a team on it, doing certain aspects of the vehicle, , from the scanning to modelling to sound to physics,, to QA,
