The 911 992 GT3 RS is actually pretty big deal since it opens up a way for very fresh new cars not being Toyota/Mazda or Nissan. This could mean we can expect every car since late 2022-early 2023

Sooo 296 gt3 is possible.
Many things are possible, but this is a modern road car from a brand that PD has a marketing partnership with, while Ferrari is at the moment still just another brand they’ve licensed. I don’t see any indication that points to an increase in new or 1-2 year recent models.

PD skipped an entire generation of Ferrari’s primary GT car while it was active, and there’s yet to be any track record of them changing that. The 488 GT3 and GTE had both been racing for nearly two full seasons by the time GT Sport came out, with the 488 GT3 starting its final seasons before GT7 was launching. Meanwhile we were still using the 458 platform that wasn’t even new in GT6. Zero indication that new Ferraris or other brands are coming in droves in near future.

While I don't disagree, the problem you run into is what happens when a player isn't at the right Collector Level to buy those parts? It'd bypass this game mechanism entirely if you could, as a new player, buy a used car and use your credits (25AE bonus credits, or paid credits) to download a tune complete with parts that you can't actually access.
Thanks, that’s a good point.

I wonder if they could just make it so you can’t use the tune if you aren’t at collector level 50?

My friends and I are pretty much all done with single player progress. We tune cars, like sharing the tunes with each other so we run close online.

Essentially “waking up“ some slower cars. But taking two screenshots, posting in the PS App chat, then having your mobile device on hand and slowly going through the Tune shop categories is tedious and then guessing on widebody, rim diameter, tire width and tire offset hardly seems like an efficient way to do it.

It would be even better if you could apply these tunes while in a multiplayer lobby. Sometimes we go to race, somebody didn’t have time to tune that specific car, right then and there they could apply it and boom we‘re racing.

Non-content things I’m really hoping for in this update.

-Share tunes
-Gift Cars and/or Credits
-Toggle HUD on and off during racing at the very least (or customizable HUD)
-Show us which tires are currently installed on our cars when selecting
-Custom categories to organize garage more efficiently
-Let lobby host, type in the performance point limit instead of using slider
-Let lobby host kick someone during race without having to back out of race
-Send invites to friends when opening a lobby
-Populate lobby with a few AI
-More equal payouts for each race, time based not 20 minutes on the ring for $50,000. Lol

  • really happy about that Charger!
  • really hope we get a new track(s)
  • really hope the Charger comes with some more rim options, we need slot mags and turbo fin mags for the older cars, cragars and centerlines are nice but theres a lot more. There’s like 500 other rims, surely they know there’s more deep dish mag options that the 3 they gave us?
(I should note by share tunes, I mean, I send my tune to a friend, they click on it, it says apply tune and all these parts, cost is X amount of credits, they click OK, now their car is tuned and setup exactly like mine. It’s tiring taking screenshots and sending that out, it’s difficult to match up perfectly, especially when some peoples settings pages are worded differently, being able to just share or upload a tune would make the process take about five seconds, they’ve really dropped the ball here)
I Will add:

-More HUD options
-Day to night transition and full dynamic weather on all tracks
-25+ player lobbies
-more options on lobbies
-FOV options
-spectator options

Maybe is too much to ask lol... for the cars, is a good package.

Too many likes for Wagon enthusiasts here, needs rebalancing. :D

I see your rebalance and would like rebalance your rebalance. Perhaps combine forces and smother out station wagons?

group 5’s and can am’s. I mean we have the 2J but NOTHING to compete with it.

While everyone is hoping for something, I decided to chime in with something “unconventional” - I can’t wait for 2 player split screen to get a fix!
Countless evening spent with my wife and friends with GTsport. We would be in teams of two (or sometimes three), would decide on some rules - like how many laps a player needs to do and then swap controllers during pits. Add a bottle of fine bourbon and some great tournaments insued…
Yet I expect to see the same “will be fixed in future update” :D

To be honest when we see how much PD loves Porsche now i think every historic racing Porsche is very possible :)

These seems extremely fair in my opinion. I don’t know if the PS4 users can handle 25+ rooms but I would like to see it for PS5 users.

We rarely get 16 in a room. I think 16 is more than enough, add AI into the mix would get my approval for when we only have like six drivers in a lobby. Just to fill it out some more.

I remember the world tour around 2017-2018 with 24 players I have no idea if is possible for the PS4 right now with GT7.

Updates should start to be separated, PS4 is holding this game the same as PD on my opinion.

No doubt however I do league racing so we always have 16 and more.. We do endurance mixed classes racing so it would be nice to have more variety. Still we will run 10 and 6 or 12/4 etc and have a great time.. but to really get the experience we need more cars on track.

@TheDummies05 I agree with you.. it’s unfortunate the time GT7 came out we were in those crazy times. PS4 is holding this game back badly.. still with all that said I really enjoy this game a lot let’s hope for a great update… so far so good!

I was about to wrote this down, is more for league racing than the sport mode.

lol.. 90% of the talk in this forum is "empty", speculations, hopes, wishes, unnecessary plssing contests, etc... Be real man, hope for the best, sure, we all do. Fingers crossed that a magic unicorn trailer will pop the night before and make everyone's dreams come true, and satisfy all the hard core gamers who still leave room for a little hope on their shelf that the game will deliver to them more than the current 3 tracks that you can earn half decent credits on, and more events that you can race more of your precious collections on - so many cars in this game that don't have a race to enter. But I am astonished how a few people don't get that silhouettes are mostly followed by a very formulaic content drop... scapes, menu book, a small collection of rubbish races and the engine swaps (which I love). This is the norm, like roulette tickets giving you the worst prize is the norm. Very occasionally, you will get a good prize from a ticket and very occasionally you will get a pre dlc trailer with something extra and substantial like a new track or the ability to sell used cars - but I am not into self delusion man - I am a realist... but I live to be surprised in a happy way :)

Seems like a fair attitude to me. Ignore the troll

As I said before, the new GT3RS will likely dominant the track, while the LFA will be singing through the track. Tesla is a good online Role-play car, like the Prius and the Fit, as it's common and cheap. 400R used as a track monster as well, while the Demon will the new takeover car. We already got the Hellcat,Mustang, and C7 ZR1. The Demon will likely be used in takeovers as well. I'm hoping the Mercedes is the 2.5 or a 500e. If it's the 2.3 Cosworth everyone is saying, then I can live with it.

No you're not a realist. A realist doesn't act pessimistic about reality, a realist is neither positive nor negative. You're a pessimist, and like all pessimists you take everyone else down with you.
Wrong. It is not pessimism to expect the worst. To expect anything else is delusional. It is a defence tactic against the endless stream of aggression and disappointment that we all encounter every day(this reply of yours being a VERY convenient example) if one expects nothing, then everything you do get is an unexpected bonus. The man stated an opinion and because you don’t agree you felt the need to lecture and insult. Who is dragging others down?

Lie. Sure it is, and you are making things up. Nobody insulted anyone.

My personal ranking of the cars is:
LFA
190E (really really really hope it's the DTM racecar version)
Dodge Demon
992 GT3 RS (in general the 992s are ugly cars, and the RS the ugliest of all, so not too thrilled)
Nismo 400R
Charger
.
.

.
skateboard with electric motors

I thank PD for the cars, but all I really want are more car model/type/generation specific races AND LONGER RACES.
I want B-Spec, legit endurance races on the various in-game tracks that host them, and at least 20 1990s crapbox economy cars taken straight from GT2.

While i was just defending Wagons in general, these pictures probably include like 90% of my current GT7 wishlist. A quick glance to my right and my Speed 8 and R390 GT1 scale models are smiling at me.

Appreciate the Spyker love too! And yes, we need Lotus back.
Can't we all get along?????!!
