I'll race anything. Bring itMy dad has owned several wagons during his time, including a Holden Commodore which I loved travelling in for many years. Wagons are fantastic and if you don’t like them you aren’t a true car enthusiast.
C'mon mate, by that logic we should delete half of what we currently have in GT7.Eh, station wagons exist for practicality. You don’t need that in GT7.

I wasn't expecting PD to add the R32 NISMO. Pretty much similar to the R32 we already have and yet they did just that. The 400R or even the R34 Z-Tune is bound to come. Nissan, GT-R, Gran Turismo. You may run from it, but you cannot hide from it!

Nope, sorry dude, you missed it! Those games weren't perfect, crappy graphics and always horrible AI but at least they got a lot of things right that GT7 doesn't imo. My frustration is only that GT7 "could" be the best of the franchise but it leaves sooo much on the table and one of da things I hate most in life is unrealised potential. I do not lament anything. I have a PC setup with a Thrustmaster T248 for R3E, RF2, Automobilista 1&2, Beam NG and AC which via mods gives me every track on the planet (and every Aussie track, even targa tas tracks). At the other end of the lounge is another T248 wheel setup but the PS4/5 variant for GT7 & crew 2 motorfest. In the driveway I got a 500hp blown XR8, all my needs are met - the only thing i need more of in my world is time, but we all need more of that! I look forward to seeing what accompanies these 7 new cars on Thursday.... but not with bated breathHonestly sounds like you just got old and are looking at all the games through rose tinted glasses, annoyed that you can't capture the magic you felt whilst you were younger again.
Nothing is stopping you from driving silly fast cars with a friend like you did in GT2, playing with a wheel like you did in GT3, grinding for golds and throwing around muscle cars like you did in GT4. Those are all sandbox things or all things you can do in not just GT7, but GT5 and GT6 too.
It's okay to move on, or at the very least, accept that you've moved on instead of clinging onto a 20 year old memory, lamenting around about how things aren't the same anymore. They might not be the same, sure. But what you are reminiscing about never went away.
Someone near me has a few classic Benzes and has a E55 AMG Wagon that looks just like this one:
Probably more I'm missing. Of course, we also need the non-wagon versions of these cars as well; Because this is a Gran Turismo game.. and there must be as many cars a possible. This is the way.
Well wouldn't say it's a bad..but I want to point out..if company skip one month then 6 7 cars are already there..so it's not "BIG"Damn, no VGT or Gr2 cars. Total crap.
What he actually said was "May or may not be a direct response to FM8", which is at best a maybe but not a direct confirmation.Well wouldn't say it's a bad..but I want to point out..if company skip one month then 6 7 cars are already there..so it's not "BIG"
nenkai said "forza direct related " don't see any connection in this update and forza..maybe hidden stuff, track, game mode?? who knows..
I also think FM goes into prestige unique cars..and gt just throws something to keep our mouth shut..maybe I am wrong..just my opinnion..but it's true I am more into race cars then road..maybe that's my problem
I understand and agree with the passion and frustration.I sincerely hope that 7 cars isn't the representation of "something big", then again, PD never fail to disappoint when it comes to delivering disappointment. Something big is "many more events allowing us to use the massive diversity of cars that we already have" and restructured economy so that we can have fun smashing out laps on all the magnificent tracks, not just three of them!!! The GT community put up nearly a thousand comments after the last sad update - lets hope PD was listening... it's amazing that people still care after the relentless soul bashing we have copped since they dropped GT7. I was foolishly hoping that nenkai's 'something big cooking" was Kaz finally responding to the passion and desire of our community - more events & fixed economy - a way to massively improve and extend the game for minimal PD effort............. but if all this build up was for errrr..7 cars..... then, oh my!
I'm glad it wasn't a '70 Charger, because I don't like the front end, but I would have rather seen a '69 Charger instead of a '68. Only because I prefer the way the '69 looks when it comes to the bigger rear lights and the split front .Dodge Charger R/T 426 Street Hemi '68
Not the Charger 440 R/T '70 from previous GT4/5/6
But still a big block, and I prefer these small rear lights
Since I learned this was on the ”datamined list” I have thought of having the fender arcs trimmed in half matte decals, give it a lift and visit the gravels. (No. Not the traps…)
Okay, since you asked for it.
Confirmed! not a realist but rather an Elitist!I have a PC setup with a Thrustmaster T248 for R3E, RF2, Automobilista 1&2, Beam NG and AC which via mods gives me every track on the planet (and every Aussie track, even targa tas tracks). At the other end of the lounge is another T248 wheel setup but the PS4/5 variant for GT7 & crew 2 motorfest. Stop projecting now.. you are delusional, period. Also, you didn't get how the big updates pattern work, which is obvious.I am a realist, not sure what you are as I obviously do not know you or anything about you. Every word I put down is considered and true. I truly hope for everyone's sake that much personal joy is delivered in the next update. I spread love, not negativity but the point of these forums is discussion. You may be happy to lie to yourself but I keep things real - there is a word for someone who goes on personal attacks because they disagree with someone's opinion and you sir, have said plenty! As for my expectations, as an invested member of the GT fraternity (25 years of playing, like many of us, thousands of hours and dollars invested in the franchise), my opinion and feelings and expectations are as valid as anyone's, even yours..... I don't need more cars, I don't need more tracks - just events to use my cars on and a different economy - that would be my happy place. I am not alone in wanting this. I respect your opinion to view things differently, after all, that's clearly your DNA
you must be young
I didn't Play the Game for Months now but with this Update I could get little Hyped I Guess...
cough...Guys don' t get hyped too much...at the end we will be getting the ''standart'' Update!
Do you know something we don’t about the content of this update?Oh wow great, more cars to use for lapping Le Sarthe. Would sure be real lovely to idk... have some new worthwhile events to use them for? These updates are as substantial as COD adding new skins to its store. Just a cosmetic to use for the same old thing I've already been doing for over a year...
Maybe I gotta ask for something smaller like say, being able to pause the game during pit stops? You'd think that would've been worked out by now.
That quote is from January this year, in response to a question of why I sold an FXX-K and P1 GTR.They’re not my cup of tea. I really adored the 911 GT1 and you can see it’s not there. Probably the best cars in the game are the Group C cars and those are gone. I’m just not using them. I can’t Get enough of the Group A cars. I flip back to Assetto Corsa and PC2 for the E30 and 190E. Once we get, hopefully, the 190E, I’m deleting both those games. It’s that serious.
yea i miss PC2 already , it was really ahead its game - lets hope next AC2 will do it justiceThat quote is from January this year, in response to a question of why I sold an FXX-K and P1 GTR.
AC is deleted and PC2 will be deleted, once I complete the 190E liveries. Going to miss PC2, not only for the Group A cars, but all the tracks. One of the best console car games of all time. Won’t even be touching other games, now that I’ll have what I wanted in GT7.
There’s also no reason for me to get an XB & Forza either. Like the end of my quote, it is that serious.
I’m going with a Scottish saltire 🏴 for a Jocks of Hazzard vibe!Suggestion, replace it with the actual American flag instead, like I did on one of my liveries, then and there's your "Dukes"
There’s some good ones out there that fit a variety of performance classes. Audi RS6, M3 Touring, Stagea, Caldina (particularly the ST215 and ST246), Volvo 240, and Merc E63 are just the cars I could think off the top of my head that would work (and have worked) very well in GT.Nah, station wagons are lame for a game like GT
