Gran Turismo Dedicated Youtube Channel?

I was going to do a Nurburgring track guide for that GTPlanet magazine, but I never had the time. Now that it is after midterms I should have a weeks break. If I send the replay data to a file share site, would someone be willing to capture it in HD and then send the files to me? I would obviously take care of the narration and editing. A video guide for each track with the same car or set of cars would be a cool thing.

Could you maybe do this for all/most of the real world tracks?
And afterwards for some of the fictional ones.

Yeah. Nurb first, just because I already have some material. Anyone interested, please let me know.

Also I consider myself a pretty good in GT5 (not GT Academy finals good, but still good). I can get in the 6 min & teens with a stock Zonda R w/ R hard tires.

The video is made it just doesn't want to upload. I have tried twice with .avi files. I'm starting it again with MPEG2 files.
 
Hope nobody said this already, but I would like a channel like for COD Black Ops.
Just a small clip of 30 seconds (maybe increase the potential size of clips later if possible), can be directly uploaded to Youtube to lets say a channel "GT5Community".

Maybe one day a HD-PVR can be built into a console :D
 
Crispy, try Mp4. Have you also asked people yet? As I haven't heard anything I actually thought this Idea had stopped. Unless I'm not wanted then no worries :).

Hey Crispy, I don't mean to sound random but whats the main priority of the channel as I'm still unsure what you fully want from the channel

If it's a Gran Turismo community channel you only need an admin team to look at submitted videos that want to be uploaded to the channel, and then check the quality for the channel, and then admin to manage the channel. But some form of submission e-mail address so people can either send a link to a video or file of the video they want?

Personally I'm still confused about the channel at the moment.

I can't really answer that as its Natino's channel. I'm pretty sure that he'll be glad to answer that and any other questions though.
 
ahh ye sorry getting confused with the different posters but if Natino can respond would be greatly appreciated because I guess if one person is confused so are many more if you get my meaning :).

Since its Natino's channel i also cant say much about how he feels it should work, the best thing is to give some people access to the channel so that if he is not around we can continue with it.

First off...

And meh, we want a dedicated channel for GT, otherwise we're competing with Machinima for different sorts of content :embarrassed:

Personally, my answer would be a definite NO. But I'll leave it open for discussion. Thoughts?
 
Haha that made me laugh, but SERIOSLY NOW Natino64, you really really should devide the channel (videos) into several sections like GT intros, GT1, 2, 3, etc. gameplay, easter eggs, funny,...you get the idea. The video you uploaded would go into the "funny" section for example.
