Nice to see that thread Scaff, I always wanted it. I know GT4 has accurated G-Forces response and overall lapping time in track compared with real situations, using the correct setup and tyres. I can't say the same with the car reactions, of course, and the way the car is driven.
But acourding to the post I was quoting, people who thinks GT4 has an excessive understeer don't usually use a "N2" compound because simply the car understeer more than racing tyres.
Evidently, you can drive a GT4 car at 200kmh without any problem, but the fact is a stock real M3 with "only" 1G average is acceleration enough to give you some strong feelings wearing good tyres at track.
So, as virtual driving is what it is, everytime everywhere you won't get grip sense and speed sense as real driving. Even when you think a virtual car is underteering a lot, you're suffering a good amount of G-Forces really.
In other words, the N1 tyres has less grip than real in the comparison. N2 ones has a very similar grip... and anyone else has higher grip. As Scaff said in the liked post, R5 tyres has a unbeliable grip wich are not propper of a road car imo.
And it's scary for me try to explain that technical things in English. But I'm confident to do it in my native language btw
