Looking ahead, how does everyone feel about doing the Group C Classics Cup at the end of March? I'm targeting the 29th, which will fall on a Sunday. The event will run at the usual time of 9:00-11:00 A.M. (EST).

My apologies, I may have to pull out tonight or at least attend a few races, due to personal schedule changes.

But I'll still be tentative here.

So, this is kind of random, but I wanted to encourage some more community in the thread. Where is everyone originally from and what other things to you like to do in your spare time? Feel free to share photos of your other interests.

I’m a toy collector. I mainly focus on Transformers and old style mecha from the 60s/70s/80s. I also work as a freelance writer on the side.

Born, raised and lived most of my life in Cleveland Ohio. Currently living in Columbus Ohio for the last 13 years.
Married, 2 kids, 34 (son Nurse at Cleveland Clinic)and 32 (daughter Doctor of Physical therapy) 2 grandkids 3 and 1. (Daughters).
Spare time I like to detail cars, attend car shows with my 2012 Camaro SS 45th Anniversary Edition, International travel with my wife and gambling with the Mrs. (mostly in Vegas)
Here is my car, which I have owned since 10/8/2011. She has won 3 best of show awards and numerous runner ups and top 25 awards.

Nice ride. I can see where some of the inspiration for your liveries comes from. I’m actually in Pennsylvania myself. Lancaster to be exact.

Sunday's FR Challenge specs are up.

EDIT:

There are 10 cars that'll be permitted for this event with 1 car representing a manufacturer. I don't know how I'm going to enforce this with it being an open lobby. Somehow, I managed to make that Turbo Sports Series event work with only one or two reminders for people. It's either that or I make it a private lobby.

As long as hp and weight is set for lobby, is there a difference? Just wondering?

There’s only so much that the power and weight restrictions can do. There’s no way for me to restrict it to the cars I want to use, so I have to manually police players outside of GTP, which is both annoying and time consuming.

True blue Singaporean, getting older by the days and years. I used to be interested in ancient history and astronomy, but now has focused more on automobiles and aviation. I work in an aviation company focusing on flight simulators, though I'm in charge of the digital training media (e-learning).

Here's some of the stuff I do during my spare time
- online gaming (I have a PS4 Pro and a Switch)
- simple photography (I don't own a pro camera, but my phone's decent enough)
- gym workout
- watch anime and read manga
- sleep

I'm planning to travel the world when I am capable, aim to visit all 50 states, every country in every continent. If even better, visit the outer space.
I do collect some anime figurines and scale model cars too.

My favorite cars include the Ford GT, Subaru Impreza WRX Type R STi Version VI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV, Nissan GT-R R34 Z-Tune

Fun fact: I share the same birthday as Lewis Hamilton

What scale are those model cars? 1/24?

I'd love to get my hands on that Takata NSX.
Can't exactly remember where I got it, but it was a rare find back then. Those are part of my collection though, the rest are all stocked in their boxes.

I've yet to get a house on my own, but I'll probably take them out when I have a decent space with adequate display shelves.

That's a nice ride. I'm joining the envious party.

By the way, did you re-create the livery of your car in GT Sport too?

Two new series have been added for this month in the Upcoming Events section: (1) Silvia Sisters (March 15th), which is a nod to the Gran Turismo 4 event, and (2) Turtle Derby (March 22nd), a slow car event. Spoiler dropdowns are posted below for your convenience (specs are subject to change).
