Gran Turismo Sport 1.11 Update Now Available

Loving the new update but did anyone else the severe popups on the first straight on Monza? It's like 5 or 6 trees popup magically out of nowhere. I hope they fix it because Monza is one of my favorite tracks.

Hopefully track limits are properly set in place for Variante 1° and 2° on Monza, yet not too rigorously in Ascari.

Nice update, after two weeks of no GTS it’s a nice change of pace and I can see my playing over the weekend.

If so that’s great as it means that good quality content has a better chance of being seen.

Old as in the 60’s, I think. A huge “oval”, banked part.

But it has change since the 90’s. Speacially the first 2 chicanes.

did you tune it to the max? there's no way it's keeping up with teh competition

I tuned it just enough to keep it a N300 class car, maximum weight reduction and racing super soft tires. It’s a handful to drive with a pad though so I actually had to switch stability control on for the first time, and I kept TCS at 3.

EDIT: It’s way slower than the opponents on the straights, yes, but you fly by them in the corners/corner exits.

Any News on Fanatec Support for the GT Sport Update for tomorrow? Trying to find Patch Notes and nothing so far yet? Please can you comment and Update with Information even If you have no further Information it would be great to Update the community instead of staying silent. Any News is better than No News at all.

Reminds me of the time with the Dev's from No Mans Land at this present stage and It's not a great feeling.

I have spent a fortune on my wheel because they said it will have support, but nothing. Then the support was coming before Christmas. Still nothing... This is rediculous considering its officially licensed.
I never would have bought such a high priced wheel if I'd known it wouldn't be supported. Please fix it.

The only chicane it won't have on that variant will be the first chicane being bypassed. It's impossible to have no chicanes at all unless they've modeled the pre-60s Monza.

There's several games out there that have replicated the historic Monza. Including the current Monza just with the first chicane removed is bizarre and frankly lazy.

I calculated with Blue Moon Premium Lounge grinding it would take 10+ hours just to buy a single 20m car, and that's assuming you get the clean race bonus everytime, which is pretty hard with the XBOW vs LaFerrari. That's ridiculous. PD is wondering why not more people play Sports mode? Well, we're too busy grinding to buy cars first, duh.

I'm ambivalent about the pitline glitch (as long as a glitch doesn't wreck other's enjoyment of their games, I couldn't care less). I understand why they patched it. But with money being so hard to come by in GTS compared to GT5/6, I find it ridiculous that they still priced these cars at 20m each.

PD, if you're reading this, we need any one of below (or all 3, if you are feeling generous):
1. Bring back daily login bonus (200% max at 5 days)
2. Bring back seasonal events with big payouts
3. Make GT League Championship Events continuous with big prize payout at the end + prize cars that we can sell (also allow us to sell gift cars from daily marathons)

At this point I have grinded for credits in GT1/GT2/GT5P/GTPSP/GT5/GT6 and now GTS. Sorry Kaz, this is just too dumb. If you want people to play "Sports" instead of mindlessly roving ovals, get your logic straight.

I was so excited for the Supra ever since the start of the week, but with all this the excitement just deflated instantly...

Monza with its 2 layouts is a great addition to the track roster IMO, that would be one of the first tracks I want to give these newly added vintage supercars a try.

The chopped up Maggione is nice as well, especially for the low-medium range of N-class cars (at least on paper, I haven't tried the tracks yet since I'm at work).

For a free update, 1.11 sure is great! Can't wait to give it a try tonight.
