Gran Turismo Sport 1.41 Update Now Available: Adds Five Cars, More Events

Dont think theres differences in handling. But there is issue with 911 porsche front tesselation/pixelshading. Front fenders /lights frames in roof cam look like gt5 standart model - just to be fixed while game is paused..

Will also post this to bugs thread

I don't recall even standard models look this bad. Probably a LOD issue.

it oversteers. i like it though. might feel better at n300 because you dont really get to use 5th too much at n200.
I tried it out at N300 BOP for Big Willow, comparing against the X-Bow, to see if it would have been an option for that Nations Cup race the other week. I did 5 laps with each car, and my best with the new Mazda was 1.2 seconds slower than my best with the X-Bow.

Oh, boy. Another one of those small notes that may have a big impact. Only got to do limited testing with @Windfire1010 but from what we can tell:

- Slipstream can be obtained from further back, up to over a second behind someone. It's not strong but it's there. Slipstream may be stronger if really close but that was less conclusive.

So they changed the slipstream to the settings they used in the Nurburgring World Tour.

Accordingly to Toyo, its range is about 1.3s now but its effect increases when the gap is smaller than that.

Time trials is an AWESOME addition to the game.

Also finally they addef qualifying to lobbies, this will help private leagues so much.

Great job from PD.

Is this part of career or something that will be rotated weekly?
Will be changed after 14th August so it seems to stay for 2 weeks.
Wished it remained a week but it's already a fun addition.

Hopefully the Civic track isn't susceptible to glitch cuts (maybe it's the other layout that has problems)

PD messed up the Cr. program again. The 930T is 100k but can't enter the Premium Lounge. Took PDI awhile to remedy this, when the Supra debuted.

What’s that screen-looking thing on the Civic’s dashboard? Is it factory-fitted? Looks kinda advanced for 1998.

The real deal

Type R.JPG

"In 1998, the Civic Type R Motor Sports edition was introduced. It came with steel wheels, the standard Type R interior and without any creature comforts.

Type Rx model was given a CD player, body coloured retractable electric door mirrors, power windows, auto air conditioning, keyless entry unlock system, aluminium sports pedals, and a carbon type centre panel.

In 1999, Honda tuning company Spoon Sports designed a N1 racing version of the Type R that had the B16B redline increased from 8,400 rpm to 11,000 rpm"

then why does the in-game car have the big display? I thought they removed the audio altogether for the Type R.

 cheers for putting my favourite Porsche of all time in. going to go do alot of driv8in that Porsche 911 (930) now

Because the in game model is not the RX Model.

The Type Rx model was given a CD player, body coloured retractable electric door mirrors, power windows, auto air conditioning, keyless entry unlock system, aluminium sports pedals, and a carbon type centre panel.

As you can see from the in game image of the interior, the pedals are not aluminium, which means that it is the standard EK9 Type R.

The face plate covers the hole in the dashboard where the cd player and AC would fit.

I know that :D

It literally gives no information on rewards. There's a button to "View the Event Website" that just goes to the Sport Mode page of gran-turismo.com which again, has no information on time trials whatsoever

Maybe PD will update it at some point, and if not we'll find out in two weeks!

I'm really really pleased to see these added but for this first round, I suck big time at the Nordschleife, and I don't have a clue about tuning :dunce:

Looking forward to the future events though :)

Just see it as an opportunity to get better at both :)

The time trial thing looks cool, provided there's a cash/XP reward for your placing.

Also, I currently have 19.5 million credits. Does anyone think it'll be worth buying the D-Type right away? When the Aston DB3 was added it was used in an FIA race soon after, so it'd be useful it happened again.

Does anybody currently know if you can rejoin a qualifying session mid-session if you disconnect during it? or will it not allow you to enter the qualifying/race

Anybody noticed any freezes? I just wrestled the X2019 around Autopolis for 30 laps, and my game froze as I crossed the finish... Went downstairs and came back to a bluescreen, race not cleared, no creditos for me.

also the game has chugged a couple times, hard freezing for a few seconds, with sound stuck, it seemed to sort itself out though...

...very annoying to waste nearly an hour. Anyone who knows me knows my ps4 has some... Issues, but this is new.
has anyone had the game freeze up and bluescreen on them since the update? Need to know whether i have to delete + reinstall a 90gb download or if i can expect a patch. Unfortunately i suspect the former...

when I select a music in the library of Gts then I come back to the home screen the music automatically changes what is not normal ???

No idea if it's related but my PS4 shut itself down earlier mid qualifying session. No warning, just "I'm turning off now". It hadn't been on long so doubt it was overheating. I'm pretty concerned it means my PS4 is dying but would actually be a bit happier if it was an error caused by GTSport

Yeah, I've had a few heat shutdowns the last couple of weeks, but i know she's clean now and not running too hot.

I already had to redownload MHW 'cos it was crashing consistently when loading certain quests. My GTS has had slight corruption for quite a while but it only ever shows its head by crashing the game if i leave it on the menus - i think it crashes trying to load those random replays it shows. It never bothered me or interfered with much, and the game is such a huge download that I didn't fancy redownloading it just to fix that one problem when the game was still 100% playable.

looks like i might have to now, turning the 800mb update into a 90gb one. :)

Update size: actual game size + "patch" => 100+ GB :(

Edit: sorry, I didn't realize that you mean redownloading the whole thing.
