Yea it did look easy, but he was running racing soft tires. Me personally I would use racing hards or maybe sport supersofts. I have always like the fact in GT you can make the race more challenging by setting up your car differently. I would like to know what tires are the A.I. running with.

Great that PD are allowing people to share video of the beta, it's much appreciated.
My first impressions: the graphics are sublime, best I've ever seen.
That said, I really dislike the over-the-top sun glare, it's all you can see in places. They need to tone that down. While I can tell that the audio has been improved over GT6, it still sounds like a typical GT game, & I don't like it. Also, as others have pointed out; the reverb effect needs work. It sounds like they're using the same verb they've always used. It sounds plain wrong, & not at all like an outdoors environment should. And what's with the engine whine! They really need to learn how to mix sound levels, at the moment they're all over the place.
Still not sold on this game, the audio is still really holding me back from even thinking about buying it at the moment.

not so much for car-to-car collisions & friction though..

(3:31) @70mph car in front gets hit right in the start of the turn, ..and it turns even more to the inside with the bump.
Then, upon full throttle acceleration on the straight, front-right hits rear-left of same front car @120mph and ...nothing
