And? You have 600 highly detailed cars made by outsourcing versus 400 highly detailed cars made in house with most of them being ditched in favor of 140 cars. Yeah I guess PD think they weren't good enough.
Aren't you forza fans saying few days ago than quality is better than quantity when forza 5 has less cars than GT,now i see that is changed looool.
Like i say go play in your xboxes with that trash game and let alone GT,it has no need for your "constructive criticism"

You just can't stop can you? You don't get to decide what people post here, you've been told that countless times but continue to label anyone who does discuss issues with GT as a hater or fanboy. Grow up.

You really expect anyone, other than members of the same 'clan', to take your opinion seriously when you post in such a way?

I'm sorry but I can't take you nor any other like you seriously anymore... I'm done cause this is embarrassing.

Yes, because nothing is stopping PD from doing something similar.

With this level of details?

Meh.

Forza isnt doing excellent at graphics but the things that shines are the replayability. The customization are deep, the car selection are top notch. The career isnt the best but still better than GT atleast.

I really wanted GT to be succeed. Its just the premise of GTS itself are really niche.

The problem is the "superior modeling" is not for every asset in the game. Out of the supposed eventual 400-500 cars GTSport will supposedly see, I'm betting half will be PS3 assets, just like it was with GT5 and GT6 with PS2 assets.

I was a diehard fan of the GT series back in the day. I used to know every spec of every car, even once upgraded, by heart back in GT1. Played it til the disk couldn't be read. Same with GT2, and GT3. GT4, well, that was the glorious one, the one I talked about when people wanted to know what racing game to buy. It was nearly perfect.

Then, we have images of GT5 at E3 2005. Much excitement. End up buying an Xbox in the meantime because all my friends have one, and Live sounds like fun. Discover Forza, not bad, but no GT. At least it has Porsches and Ferraris. Look over in PS3 corner, first delays announced for GT5. Oh, okay. Pick up a 360, Forza 2 comes out, pick it up as well. Better than the first one, but still not quite GT. More delays regarding GT5. FM3 comes out. Whoa, now this is good. Over in PS3 corner, 4 years after GT5 is announced, still nothing. I'm starting to get disappointed now. Roll around 2010, GT5 comes out, 5 years after. Log on to GTP, head over the GT5 section for feedback, and I see this:

And that's when I gave up. 5 years. For this. 1000 cars, yeah. Roughly 200 are "premium", the others are straight from the PS2. 5 years. I felt cheated, dejected even. This series was a part of my youth, and you've gone and done that to it? It's now a photography/car collecting simulator with a bit of racing in between... It's like they sat on their asses for 4 years and then realized, oh yeah, we've got a game to put out. Here, take the GT4 car list and just port it over. GT6 came out afterwards and I didn't even bother, I knew it would be more of the same. Then you realize there's 21 NA Miatas in the game, and somehow it doesn't make any sense.

But GTS I was looking for, really. It showed promise, I thought it would be a return to PD's glory years.

I'm afraid it's not.

The replayabiliti loool, when you don't know how to defend forza

Like I said, just because one company produces assets at a certain level it doesn't mean that every company would be at that level, there is no global skill level for outsourced 3D modellers.

I mean otherwise you're suggesting the only people in the world who can create models with insane detail are PDs current staff, which is obviously nonsense. There are people out there rendering car models way beyond PD because they have a higher limit, it's not for a game or whatever, with polygon or texture limits.

If PD mandated a company build models to the same level as their in-house models, someone could. The companies working for T10 clearly worked to a different mandate.

I'd rather take outsourced quality that's delivered on time that still looks great like this;

Than in-house stuff that takes years to come out like the modelers have OCD or something because they take 6 weeks to model a single LED on the DRLs of a LaFerrari or accurately getting every single stitch right on the harnesses of a fake GT3 Mustang.

-------
Quality>Quantity any day for me.
Unfortunately that formula falls apart when the quantity of quality on the left side of the formula = 0, which it appears will be the case until an undetermined point in the future.

See above. I much prefer a car that can be driven in a game with my own equipment vs. one that can only be admired by watching a gif, at least for the forseeable future.

I'm not defending anything. I dont even own Forzas. I borrow em.

GTSport has the best graphics, presentations, and replays. Its just that people wanted GT7, a GT that also has full offline career, older cars, fan requested features, and general bigger scale.

GTS isn't bad in premise, its just niche aka had only fraction of general GT players appeal. The fact that its only contains newer cars (and even then its mostly race cars), generally same stock car sounds, and also smaller number of tracks understandably turn off to even a prominent GT fan.

If you still care about GT, good for you. Its just you cant really change others preference at this point. Besides what really affects you if I or some others choose Forza?

I probably should better off. Sorry.

Don't worry i have a job and don't waste my time in forza forums just to talk sh... like you with gt.
Considering I own three PS3's and three copies of GT5 so I can run the game in triple screen as well as a copy of GT6 I think your assertions are wide of the mark. You really need to grow up and realise that just because some people have bade things to say about your ickle favourite it does not make them haters, just fans of racing games who want to see the best games possible. It's actually blind defenders like yourself who are bad for this community. None so blind as though who refuse to see ;)

So I imagine that you loved standard cars, right?
If the option was actually driving standard cars in a full game vs. watching gifs of cars that look prettier...then I'd prefer standards over nothing, yes.

One more thing. GT is never be sucked as a game, even GT5 and GT6. There are dissapointments but not enough to be completely unenjoyable to play.

Like I said many times, its the development. Sure, each literation of GT is always better. But only so marginally compared to other franchises. Not sure why. GT development has somewhat slowed down by huge since GT5 Prologue which was about 9 years ago.

Thankfully that's not the only option and that there's other driving games with a large, varied, roster of detailed cars. And racing that is actually, you know, fun.
Ok you are not interested with GT (and many others i see) so why to post on a forum only dedicated for the game, and talk only bad things about the game, why just don't ignore it if you don't like .

The problem with that is that is a situation you made up entirely on your own. Pretty much everyone here has an interest in GT, some just have problems with design choices made.

I'm not interested in GT? Small wonder why I'm hoping in my heart that GT can somehow make a comeback and return as one of the best racing game series ever.

Like everyone else, I'm not surprised. This has been a trend for years now.

This news doesn't make me mad though. I don't mind the delays, because if PD isn't satisfied or just needs more time then so be it. I wouldn't want them to release a halfway complete title for their first entry on PS4.

I am not eager for this next entry, but I am excited for it. This news will be a put off for many, and some will have given up on PD. Some probably won't be affected and carry on with other racing games instead. Others will be like me, excited for it and patient for however long it takes them to release the game.
