Gran Turismo Sport delayed to 2017

at least it was not a last minute delay as there was 12 weeks now we have to wait for a new date, hopefully Sony do not keep us guessing on the new date.

This seems like a significant delay, not the one-two month usual. Doubt they'll release it close to Horizon. Guessing summer 2017.

This sucks but I would rather have a delay than a half finished game.Now they can add a sp campaign.

You don't delay a game to add more stuff than you initially planned, you're back in the same position if you do that. You delay a game because what you planned to do wasn't finished on time.

Well, unless the delay is a year or more, then you might be able to add extra time to do new things.

I'd blame the Neo. Sony probably wants a big title in the launch lineup. Although I can't help but laugh that there will be 4 (at least) Forza games on X1, but no GTs on PS4, not even an extended demo.

Did you forget Gran Turismo 5? Even when PD delays their games they still release them half finished. Yeah dude, PD is just going to go ahead and add new content to a game that is already having a troubled development.

I would include Driveclub in the comparision. Forza Horizon and Forza are made by different people.

Driveclub and GT Sport vs Forza 5, 6, Forza Horizon 2 and 3.

Project Cars arrives, people give up due to issues. Now the game is completely playable, although it has some bugs (that for a game with 1 year should be fixed).
Assetto Corsa arrives, no private lobbies. They will introduced for sure Private lobbies. A lot of presure from the community is on Kunos.
GT Sport delayed.

We get the more realistic game but I'm missing my Toca with full licence (or at least it seems like it) and proper racing series, not fancy stuff coming from someone crazy mind. I quite dont get the excitement I had when I first played GT or GT2 too for some reason with the new racing games. I think the most I had was when I tried RRRE for the first time, the noise, the tracks and even the driving on pad was amazing. AC is pretty cool too but the lack of private lobby couple with the poor career make it a bit less interesting. If only I could have PCars career mode on AC.

Forza 6 is fantastic, but I would be reluctant to get an Xbox One at this point because Forza 7 might be on PC.

Forza Motorsport 7 will be on PC but the Xbox will be there for those that like to play on console(which is a huge audience.).

You know, if they'd stop wasting there time on photo mode, we might actually get a game that's about driving cars not taking pictures of them... Believe it or not PD, some people want to drive the cars we'll never have a chance to, not taking pictures of the dang things.

I was still on the fence about buying it, this is the icing on the cake. I pains me to say it cause I've bought everyone of the GTs. I'm done with PD now. Whats that, 4-5 years to make 1 game, seriously? The PS4 will be at the end of it's life by the time they release it, if they do...
