Honestly I do not get your post directed to @PzR Slim, he clearly stated his criticism with the fact GT sport mostly has been presentating "how great the game looks". I love the graphical upgrade but I would like to hear more on physical aspects of the game and other cutting edge features aswell.PD should never have bothered updating graphics , sounds , UI , presentation , etc ...
Hell , they should throw all 600+ standards in GT Sport , since function is apparently the ONLY thing that matters.
Sorry if people like fun , interesting and new features.

You can enjoy and find it as fun as you want but it does not change the way how some people look at it as just a "graphics demonstrator simulator"
It goes without saying...
It's one of the major reasons why I keep coming back to GT. Their presentation is unmatched. The last time I had a WTF?! moment about a 'pointless' feature in a car game was the 'walking around your car in the garage' thing in PGR4.
I understand @PzR Slim 's 'meh' attitude, each to their own, but I love stuff like this.
If you want to know more about the physics , play the beta.
the game is better in all aspects , sounds , graphics AND physics.
Brand Central :
They managed to make a virtual car move through the scape and you can't figure out how they animate a puddle? You know reflections in water aren't new right?I cannot fathom how they've managed to enable properly reflecting puddles in a scape (check the hairpin turn section)...

This feature is only for the car lovers...It's one of the major reasons why I keep coming back to GT. Their presentation is unmatched.
One small problem, I have no PS4 so ergo no access to the beta. Whether or not I join the PS4 club hangs solely on GTS and thus far I'm not liking what I see enough for me to pull the trigger. It will be the first GT I miss.
And it damned well better be all those things for how bloody long it's taking!
Of course there is plenty supporting the "form over function" thing.
- Very little single player from the looks of it, as a person who rarely plays online this is a biggie.
- Rather small car list that is even smaller once you realize some cars have 3 versions.
- Small track list with the legendary PD tracks currently MIA.
- No sign of Day/Night transitions or dynamic weather
That list may only be 4 things, but they are 4 pretty damned big things in my book. I bought 2 PS3's waiting for GT5, I'm not going to be doing the same for GT Sport.
if you can't or won't , it's not PD's fault.
In relation to the rest of what you said , quite simply , the game isn't out yet. 👍
ctually it is. PD's only job, their sole reason for being an entity
That fact doesn't change anything I said
You said you wanted to get a feel for the physics , so the only way to do so is by playing the beta or the full game. If you don't want to then you'll never get a good idea of how the game feels , no matter how much Kaz or someone else tries to explain it by words.
The fact that the game isn't out means many things can change , as they already did.
You can complain and critique , and you can do it freely obviously , but , again , the game isn't out and many things can change.
I agree that it's pretty cool but not that cool.
One question though. This affects gameplay how? Form over function again?
I think this is simply your opinion and not based on facts, as it stands now the game is quiet an improvement from GT6 but fails to go on par with other competition that exists.the game is better in all aspects , sounds , graphics AND physics.
Or is the game going to be bad in the physics department just because PD made a fancy menu?
15 locations / 27 layouts could work like that. Just my assumption.
1. Nürburgring (4 layouts) Nurburgring, 24H Layout, GP Track, GP Short Track (as in GT6)
2. Brands Hatch ( 2 )
3. Northern Isle Speedway (1 or 2 because of rally course from E3 trailer )
4. Blue Moon Bay ( 1 )
5. Tokyo Expressway ( 2 )
6. Willow Spring ( 2 )
7. Sardegna ( 1 )
8. Fisherman's Ranch ( 1 )
9. Dragon Trail ( 2 )
10. Suzuka - 3 - main course, east course, west course
11. Mount Panorama ( 1 )
12. Interlagos ( 1 )
13. Ice/Snow Track (ice tires in the BETA) (1 or 2)
That's 13 tracks / 22-24 layouts with 3-5 layouts remaining across 2 tracks.
I just don't see PD passing out on 4 Ring and 3 Suzuka layouts especially considering Kaz said there's only one Japanese race circuit.
