Just a short bit from Yoshida where he confirms there'll be weekly tournaments.

So Shu confirmed GTS is designed on a games as a service model. Not expecting GT7 for this gen, they probably have a large chunk of DLC content planned and will be supporting the game until the end of the console cycle. I guess Kaz pretty much started experimenting with this concept with GT5 and the constant continued support it had throughout the years, including the huge Spec 2.0 update. Seems now they're going full gaas model.

A service model and constantly being updated is what he had in mind for GT HD, which was renamed into GT5.

To be honest I would have been more surprised if they hadn't been in.

Racing title wise they are now pretty much a staple, FM and GT started them off last gen, and now they are in just about everything. Which is a good as I like them a lot, the daily weekly and monthly ones in Dirt Rally were great, and I enjoyed the Pcars community events a lot as well.

I think this is worthy of a news article:

I would like to know view things before i order GRS.
1. How is look like in career mode ?? Traning, qualy, race ??? Or it is like in gt6 ???
2. Does comes some tracks in game later or is limited on this 19 location ??
3. Is there still premium and classic cars ???
4. Does it look same like in previous version - you earn cr and buy parts and cars ??

It looks like there is no classic career mode in the game at all. Just a series of license and other shorts tests.

I think most of us are assuming that more tracks will be added later through a DLC program but the count as it stands right now is quite low.
3. Is there still premium and classic cars ??? No, there are only super premiums.
4. Does it look same like in previous version - you earn cr and buy parts and cars ??
Yes although the level of customisation is not nearly as deep as it was in previous game and we have no idea how the economy is going to work in the absence of a classic career mode.

1 - carrer mode is a mix of sort of license tests, mission challenges (e.g. overtake 3 cars on 2 sectors of the track), some races and time trials of the tracks and the sections if them

2 - its assumed there will come more tracks (as well as cars) as DLC later

3 - no premium or standard - all cars have the same ,,super premium“ quality

4 - you still have to buy cars or win them in campaign mode but you cant buy tuning parts. You can change the rims though and customize your vehicles in the livery editor where you can paint your car, put stickers on it and so on.
Tuning is still possible for springs, aerodynamics and so on

Better watch this —>
