Anyone did the Interlagos enduro Mission? Need some tips on passing that Audi. I feel I have to time my fuel map and pit stop perfectly, so that the Audi is still behind in the field

Anyone know which event right now in the demo gives the most Mileage points, i am pretty much capped on the amount of money i can get for this demo that will transfer over so i figured i would farm some of those mileage points

i pitted on lap 2/3 and when doing so i made sure i only put in enough gas to get me to the finish, if anything you can change your fuel mapping by hitting left on the d-pad to make it use less fuel but i just went standard fuel map 1 to keep my power up.

Also i would pit as soon as the leader (Audi) pits as it is your best chance in my opinion

Hey everyone, I have sadly let life get in the way of my Playstationing over the last year or so (I own all the full GT's). I have GTSport preordered through EB Games, have been playing about an hour each night on GT6. Haven't played beta versions. Anyone else in a similar boat? Guys that have played it, what is the learning curve like? Cheers

From my experience with the demo, the controller steering settings could be tweaked since (to me) it feels a bit heavy. Rallying is actually a challenge since the cars seems to handle like they're on ice.

I see a lot of comments about Stage 6-8 and how people are struggling with it. I've done it twice 1st both times, so here's what I did:

1) I used Fuel map 4 the whole time. Had enough fuel to go 10 laps and then pit. 2 stops with new racing hards both times. Had to block like a c:censored: for the last 1 1/2 laps, but won by .130.

2) I used Fuel map 2 until lap 30. That means I could go 6-7 laps before pitting. I started on Mediums and I pit on 6/12/18/24 and put mediums on lap 12, and then Softs on 24. On lap 30 I had enough fuel to use map 1 so i switched to that. Won by over a second.

For those who tried the demo, how does the driving feel with a DS4? I'm kinda tempted to get a PS4 with the game for my birthday, but i've always thought the driving in the older GTs was kinda muddy, like the cars felt way heavier than in other games like Forza.

Oh and also, if i actually get the console, am i good with a standard PS4, or should i go full package and the the PS4 Pro?

I can´t really go fast. You have to drive it very slow, because correcting the car is almost impossible.

Using the assists helps some, but the steering is meant to be done with a wheel.

I´m driving it, but very, very slow.

If you thought previous games felt heavy, man... in GT Sport the cars have real weight behind them now, but they drive better I think. There is a couple of issues with DS4 control right now though, correcting oversteer is near impossible. Check this thread here (it's definitely driveable but right now you'll need a delicate touch) https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/ds4-steering-way-too-unresponsive.361272/

very disappointed... this will be the first GT game that I don't buy on launch day. I'm a casual player, but a paying one that bought every GT game.
  • No single player campaign, (this is huge, and yeah apparently I'm late to this news as I tend not to pay attention until the games are close to releasing)
  • short list of cars, seriously 2 normal Nissan cars, and the rest Nissan race cars
  • tracks are not dynamic as far as road surface GT6 did a better job of it,
  • still racing in perfect weather all the time (for the first time looking over at Forza and thinking that's a good looking game),
  • Online race are the cars solid or ghosts... because it changes on every corner it seems,
  • This is a simulator why the hell am I teleported to the middle of the track lane when I mess up a corner,
  • someone tell PD that we don't play the game with a mouse learn to build a proper UI for once in this game,
  • love getting spun out by asshats thanks online only,
  • WTF have you been doing since GT6 because it hasn't been working on a new GT game (This is GT6 with a bunch of crap removed, although I have to say the cars sound a lot better.
  • Driving line is missing the brake indicator, really helped with judging speed,,, The word break in red right where my cars red bumper is was a stupid UI decision.
Best get comfortable because I'm going to be playing GT6 for another decade...

When I try to collect my prize car (lower right corner of screen), the demo crashes and gives an error code. Anyone else? I'm on PS4.

I see where Meteor Freak is coming from. I probably won't buy this until most of the bugs are fixed and something is done about the penalty problem and the nature of single-player is better known.

Really and truly an amazing demo. Takes me back to the days of shareware. Enough is provided to hook you, keep you intrigued... I am.

But God damn it... Gt is history. Gt is the past and the present. GTS is the present and the future (dream). The vision cars do nothing for me. GTS would be better if it had old steel. The kind of cars past GT was built around.

Don't get me wrong. There is a lot right about GTS. Physics, graphics, menus.... All polished... I'd argue, best in class. Really top notch. But god damn the car list is GARBAGE... And the track list leaves much to be desired. Where the hell is Spa?

At least the Green Hell and Bathurst are the only true essentials... But I'd be lying if I wasn't dreaming of the Isle of Man, wide open throttle in a stage 3 E36 M3 - *never gonna happen*

Sigh.

Crap I just golded all the stage 6 missions except for the endurance and now I see the servers are off... Should I leave my game on for the hour to reconnect? I'm not losing this progress!

yes leave it on and wait, once servers come back on manually hit save in the game to save it, that happened to me yesterday after doing the endurance race

Not sure if right place to post. Not seen any info on trophies, when progress and money get carried over. Hope trophies don't get messed up somehow. Loving this demo. Played all gran turismo series. Have deluxe edition pre ordered.

So i think it's safe to say there's not going to be any performance modifications? Just "increasing" the cars performance through mileage points? I haven't looked into the subject, just solely going off what i'm seeing in the demo. If that's the case that's really disappointing..
