Finally got to play last night. Done one of the daily races at brands and was smashed into the side by someone carrying too much speed into the corner and I lose SR!! I mean, WTF!
I did all 3 daily races yesterday and I am glad I qualified on pole for 2 of them, there was some carnage behind me, in the Suzuka race I was having a great race with the pole sitter with both of us coming undone from back markers running off and coming back on.
Joined a couple of lobbies and had really good racing, all up it's been okay.

Just started playing today. 12gb update to do (haha, that's like 5-6 hours download here).

Playing with DS4, it's a handful that's for sure. More so than any Forza game.

I'm finding strange hitches in the frame rate though, maybe happens once or twice per lap? Anyone else.

Does that update will install itself like now when im at work, or just when i will start game just then it will download and ruin all evening?

Yh i noticed some hitches in frame rate too on ps4 pro quality mode on 1080p

Didint saw rain just wet track . and water splashes on windows some but from wet track. Didint saw any rain from sky. It was rain ?
I think we will have full rain with time. So they just trying some stuff for now. And when its ready they will patch it. Why then we have heavy rain tired and snow tires there?

Yes it is rain. I will post screenshots later.

I think it might depend if your PS4 is in rest mode or not.

I have a non-pro, so if it's happening on a Pro at 1080 then it is probably a bug.

There you go. The rain torrents is extremely thin, indeed. But I can see them.

I wanted to post a video but heck the non-pro PS4 video recording only limited to 720p and those rain lines are literally gone.

The only thing I'm thinking... How could they messed up things in the actual gameplay that were ok untill 3-4 days before release, with the very last beta, and now don't work properly, like the FFB on T300/T500 or the DS4 reactivity?
I mean, I can understand things not working with pre-order codes, etc... But actual gameplay, which shouldn't have had changed in these last days?

Really? I disagree entirely. While I haven't played Forza 7 yet, (I have played the demo) I've found the cars in the Forza series to be far more tail happy and more prone to oversteer than the cars in GT Sport. The ND MX-5 in GT Sport is an exception, but just about everything else I've driven seems to be much easier to control than Forza 5 or 6.

Could it be they wanted to harden the driving because of people bitching about it being too easy for "real simulator"?

Hi,

Impressive. Did you complete all that since the release of the game on the 17th or some were transferred from the beta period?

as other mentioned, nothing was transfered from the demo. It takes roundabout three hours to complete this.

D.

Was able to play 3 hours yesterday.
Starting with getting gold on the nurburgring track challenge. It was quite a challenge actally :)
Did some driving lessons and damn some of you GTP guys in my friendslist are REALLY fast. A lot of fun to keep improving after you get gold just to get higher in your friends leaderboard.
Drove 2 online sport races at Suzuka and they were amazing. Managed to finish 4th of 24 cars 2 times with 2 totally clean races! (SR C)
I'm really looking forward to the championship (Belgium and Peugeot for me) and to improving mij DR and SR for even better online racing. WHAT A GAME! :D

Ik actually can't believe anyone could complain about the single player content. There is à lot of stuff and while it hasn't a classic careermode it suits me well. I like the way the whole thing is set up , the way it is polished and how it motivates the player. Only thing that bothers me is the online save! Maybe that'll change in the future

I actually just played GT Sport using the analogue sticks on the DS4. I thought I'd hate it because I'm used to the positioning of the Xbox sticks and I've always played GT with the thumbpad (well, GT 1 and 3 - haven't played a GT since). Using the analogue controls, it's actually not bad at all. Improved my lap times by 10-12 seconds.

Also - how do I change between driver assists from beginner/intermediate/advanced.

Or is this only available during the initial set-up??

I made the switch to the analog stick with GT3, I believe, I can't imagine trying to use a d-pad these days. I'm glad you've found a better control scheme.

Where are the replays in sport mode??

When the race is over, move the cursor to the top of the screen before you exit. You can view or save the reply of the race there.

Thanks man!

I’m looking through the Discover section and the amount of community-focused features there is impressive; everything I’ve wanted from a Forza title for years in terms of community tools is there.
I'm surprised how smooth the experience is! (I'd like to see a new tab for tuning database. )

You sure thats real rain? Hmm cant see it in pics. And i didint saw it when played. But will double check when get back home sure.

Someone must know how to change between beginner/intermediate/advanced modes???
In where? Agains AI? You choose that before race

I've been replaying GT3 recently. So that probably contributed to my initial control setting.

Did anyone play the GT sport demo and leveled up more than Lv20.
If you did are all the tracks still locked in arcade mode for you.
I’ve tried everything to initiate the unlock.
I’m lv23 now and I still only have the first five tracks in arcade mode ???
