So I was just thinking..............

Since Forza (I think it was Forza) getting the liscense deal with IMSA could this mean we won't see any American tracks like Laguna Seca etc etc in GT Sport at all???

The Copen VGT at Tokyo was awful. People were being ridiculous and one guy was wallriding without getting any penalties.

Also had a rammer on the RCZ/Dragon's Trail but that ended well (instant karma).

Thanks mate. Finally have time to check out the game.

Np 👍

I was a week late starting due to holiday in the US.

Suggest you start with the licences, missions and track stuff... there's enough in that for at least a few days even if you hit it hard, and you get fee cars for just about everything!

You don't really need to grind for credits in GTS. But you will need to grind for experience pints if you want to level up and get the platinum trophy.

Resting...

In sport mode the game does a pretty bad job of pairing players up. You got some guys that got low driver ratings/sportsmanship ratings in the same race with people that got high driver ratings/sportsmanship ratings. I haven't raced that much on this game (been creating so many liveries and taking photos of my cars) but when I do I get paired up with some guys that's like 3 seconds faster than me. That's some bull crap. I'm a fast racer but im not ridiculously fast. Right now sport mode isn't fair.

What DR/SR? I’m at B/S and I’ve been getting matched up in excellent races that are fairly consistent with the level of competitiveness.

I don’t know what was up tonight but the driving standards and penalty giving we’re terrible.... on the plus side I managed to do the 30 lap endurance mission

The matchmaking first matches you by region, than by SR, then finally DR, the latter being how fast a driver you are. I'd imagine sometimes the player numbers aren't there to fill the hopper with people very equal to you?

i've never seen that. the loosest i've seen is it placing me with As and Bs despite my D score but I have an A SR rating. Due to my qualifying time is places me mid pack in these room, which is fine since ranking up is relative. After a couple of these races the game will usually throw me a bone and place me as a top seed with other D racers where I have like 2 to 3 seconds on the pack.

the only people ruining things are artificially boosted SR people with low times. you can tell their A SR score is fake because they'll drive like maniacs when their in the pack. which is fine, pressure them off of their line and the pounce when they run ride. One race i moved 15 to 5th because the pack was so aggressive and stupid as they were a bunch of red Bs and As

some people are really good at particular track and they can boost dr from D to A in just few days.

but when the track rotate, they might not that good, and DR will going down from A to B.

so dont worry about being paired with A or B drivers

Trying to get back my SR rating after one manufacturer race dropped it to C, good job PD.

Get pole at Bathurst, drop to third battle to second and am putting a lot of pressure on first, set the fastest lap, lap 6, and I get d/c’d all of the progress during the race towards my SR is lost as is the fact I set the fastest lap (by some margin and got pole):bowdown::bowdown:

What a staggering mess this game continues to be

My wife had to go visit her mom in NC this weekend and I was up at 4 am to see her off. An hour later I was playing GT Sport in my boxers and socks and I realized this is not really a rare occasion for me.

So just fyi, when I'm racing most of you guys I'm not wearing pants. Keep that as a mental image as we are going side by side into a corner. :D

Championship Test Season 3 will commence on 19th November. Below you can find the race schedule for Season 3.

I'm out. Sorry, I'm already bored by the tracks and cars. Races are fun but not enough variety.

It’s a real problem I’m noticing that people are already bored of GTS... and those of us on this forum are assumingly more “committed” than others, which leaves me to believe it’s not being received well overall. My main point is that so many people should not be done with a game 1 month after release :/

I’ve not given up on it personally, because I do really enjoy the online aspect, but unless PD straightens up soon and at least starts communicating with fans about the future, I see this ending badly.

I don't think early boredom is surprising. Car selection is quite limited and the selection of cars that are the most competitive is pretty slim. Racing the same cars and tracks over and over, no DLC announced or in sight. Quality of racing is highly dependent on your starting position and driver ranking. Faster drivers report better racing but it's hit and miss at the lower levels. The recipe for longevity is variety in content and broad overall design appeal, something this game lacks IMO.

I spent a couple hours racing the AI at Brands Hatch this morning with different cars. Wasn't bored for a second. Obviously, some people who have quit would still be playing it if it had a more robust single player and others are anxious for PD to make some announcements. I'm just choosing to be patient and taking the tack that they know what they are doing and are monitoring things that we are unaware of. At 31 days out, I am not too concerned. If mid December to January rolls around and they haven't at least made DLC, Championships, Penalty system announcements then I will start to have an issue.

So damn true.
Back to PC2 for me. And i enjoy it for now. If the "miracle" patch comes true for the PS4 Pro i think i will forgot GTS.

I keep coming back to this site expecting at the very least some big news or announcement like there had been leading up to the game release. But every time I do, there's nothing. No announcements, no news, nothing. This make me wish I had GTS even more since all I can do is wait for PD to announce something or continue to play the ever living heck out of GT6.

Aren't we happy at this point that PD chose to invest a lot of time in creating these rally tracks and ovals? It's not like we would need more tracks for variety in all these Sports-races.

Actually, I think the basis of the game is sound. Some things need tweaking, but overall it's good. It just lacks content. A lot.
