Loved today's group 4 race at Mount Panorama, I came in the first race with no practise, and of course I stayed back at the group until the 2nd lap, where I gain 5 positions.

The track really punishes small mistakes, one slight understeer can net you a second off your lap time. I'm still stuck at SR B and DR B, hoping it'll rise soon.

Hello People, I just have a few questions and probably someone can help. The Situation is that I am playing Gt Sport on a Ps4 attached to a 55 inch lg Full hd oled screen. I was just wondering if I would benefit from graphic improvements if i would run it on a Ps4 pro. Besides from a more constant framerate and 60fps replays are there any other visible graphic improvements on a full hd screen. I saw the game running on an 4K lg oled with a Ps4 pro and it was like day and night compared to my only 1080p oled. So does maybe someone run a Ps4 pro on a 1080p screen and can tell me if I would benefit from an upgrade?

Man they should add so much more :) Just last night I watched some youtube video and it was showing off past tracks and I realized how I missed those, both real and PD ones. The Alps one that was used to promote GT5, the city tracks in Japan/Hong Kong, Costa di Almafi etc

I get that for now they are focusing on real races but it would be a shame not to use this beautiful engine and actually get some tracks with scenery and not just gravel n grass.

Yea I wanted to say that... Missing those circuits.... Tsukuba, Fuji... also rain condition should be added...
It'll be fun racing with players in rain condition....

Anyone having connection issues? Yesterday and today. Last night I failed to connect to a FIA race and today, I've failed both Daily Races I've tried. Error NE-210B40B4 "Connection to the session timed out."

I've very rarely had any connection issues since release and now it's happening a bunch since.. maybe Friday night? I assumed it was high PSN traffic as its the weekend. When I do the "Connection Test" on the PS4, half the time it fails the "NAT Type" test, but I can run the test again and it'll work, then fail three times, the work again etc.

I rebooted my router last night, updated the firmware, and now I'm sitting here seeing if port forwarding or Open NAT (which the PS4 is still seeing as Type 2.) None of it seems to fix this PS4 issue. I bypassed the router entirely, went straight into the PS4, it does see it as Type 1 now, but it's failing the NAT test almost every time. And just to be clear, I haven't had any real connection issues on PS4 except this.

*I should also note I'm on Verizon up here in the northeast US with gigabit internet, in case it's a local or ISP thing*

I have a PS4 Pro and have only been using it with 1080p TV's and monitors so far. I also have a standard PS4's that I have used only on my 1080p monitor with GT Sport so don't take this a definitive because I haven't looked hard for differences.
Not for GT Sport, in other games definitely but I if there is an improvement in GT Sport it is negligible enough for me to not notice it. I have a PS4 Pro that has only been attached to 1080p TV's and monitors and I have standard PS4's that have only been used with 1080p monitors. I have attached the same monitor to both but not the TV. I haven't looked at them side by side to try and find a difference. I don't think GT Sport looks remarkably better running on the PS4 Pro with a 1080p display even on a TV. I'm sure it looks remarkably better on a 4k HDR display.

Well thanks for your reply, and yes I think it’s indeed HDR that makes the big difference. But no matter I still enjoy the game.

I think rather than adding more FF cars to Gr. 4 they should instead be added to their own seperate “touring car” class all together. I’d go as far removing the 4WD cars from Gr. 4 too, moving the class closer to its real-life counterpart (GT4).

make separate class is good, well they need that but for now I think they need expand Gr.4 and Gr.3 itself with more choice. Give the car like BRZ GT3 or the car I mention before not only make more choice but giving the brand likeness more.

I'd definitely like to see the FF and awd sedans part of S-Tai/Production touring car type category .

well that's must be good too ST have alot list car.

I'm new to GTS (and gaming for the most part), so when they say 3 free new cars in DLC, is there a place to go to download and get those 3 cars immediately, in the game, or online? Or, is it just luck of the draw to get those 3 cars one by one as a Gift car?

They come in the latest update. You have to buy them in the dealership.

"buy", then why does the update say "free cars"?
The DLC that's coming out December will give you 12 cars for free. They will be released after the next update. The article on the main page is a bit confusing but if you read it carefully, you will understand that GT League and 12 new cars are coming in the 1.07 update (as DLC), not the 1.06 one.

You’ll probably still have to buy them in game.

Have to say, one thing I noticed in 1.06, was that they made the challenges, not a challenge. Before the patch mine was a bit bugged, so I could finish the endurance race in 4th faster than a mate on my leader board who won it.

Post patch, I didn't even really need any strategy for any of the races, just pick a car I was happy with and run in mix 1 throughout. I could even fit the faster compound type and build up such an advantage over the rest of the cars I could get a free change, where as before it was a really test of making one set of tyres last... that said, at least I was able to do the horrible rally stuff :lol:

So when are you folks expect PD to drop the December update? I hope it’s a week before Christmas.
Depends on holidays in Japan. If you release an update, you've then got to release a patch that fixes what you broke in the update.....
