Can someone please give me the procedure for eliminating the Auto-messaging during Sport races? While I understand Polyphony Digital wants to keep a peaceful environment in the lobbies, I don't want anybody speaking on my behalf. In fact, I don't think it's even legal to post messages under somebody else's profile. That's identity theft. What the heck are they thinking?

It says"hi". This is not identity theft....

Just wanted to say that I had one of my most enjoyable manufacturer races last night.
A good mix of cars, GR.3 is well balanced.
All either DR S or DR A drivers, I think from first to last was just under 3 seconds total qualifying time (pretty good for a long track).
Unfortunately I didn't qualify very well - about 1.25 seconds off my personal best, but that's what I get for not practicing the track very much.

I made one minor mistake running wide on turn 1 on lap 6 dropping me back 1 spot, but overall made up 1 position and finished 12th.
There was minor contact initiated by me (like the lightest of bumps coming into hairpins, nothing that caused anything negative), and I was bumped coming into a hairpin enough to cause a bit of a slide, but the driver didn't try to take advantage of his mistake (thank you).

Overall, it was just a very good experience, and is the reason I bought this game originally - I don't need to win, I just want to have a good, hard clean race with similar skilled drivers.

Just feel like we get a lot of negativity and I wanted to spice things up.

Not needed for DS4, as the triggers are already quite good; not as good as Xbox One, but certainly far better than DS3.

DS4 triggers already have enough grip and travel for gradual control, whereas DS3's weren't as precise.
Yes you're right, maybe I don't need it. I'm pretty satisfied with the grip it self, but I think a little longer range of motion, especially for the acceleration, may not harm.

I am pissed let me tell you.

Joined the Manufacturer Series race today, spend a good hour practicing and my game just straight-up crashes during the warm-up. So I reload the game, spend another hour practicing... and I can't join the next race because the game considered the first race as a leave-in-progress.

So my SR took a big hit, my DR took a massive hit (almost 1500 points!?!), I got 0 points for this stage in a half-length season, and I'm disqualified from racing today.

What the ****? What kind of system does this for a game crashing on you?

I think from PD's point of view there is very little to no difference between the game crashing and rage quitting. Imagine if you could just rage quit and race in the next one?

It does suck though, and it crashing this often isn't great :(

I mean I can believe that the game can't tell the difference between a force quit and a crash - certainly, games have tried to go around that before and been exploited.

But, like, such a massive punishment for a first 'offence' seems bizarre. Like, what was I supposed to do about it?

If it could, then people would crash it. If it could detect someone closing the game but not yanking the power out of a router, people would use that to grief.
It sucks, but it's just one of those things.

Writing this just to mix in some positive feedback on game.
Last night sport race: I'm DR B/C SRS, Lago Maggiore track, 4C Gr3 car.
First race: total crashfest. Only two players avoided red SR: race leader (SR white at the end), and last position (SR blue at the end). Everybody else got SR red. At that point I thought I'd better not to race this combination again to avoid substantial SR drop.
However decided to give it a second chance as I like this track so much.
And then I had 4 consecutive most enjoyable races I ever had.

Didn't win any of those, but every race I had great clean battle for positions, usually finishing 1-2 positions ahead of starting position.
In general I'm very satisfied with sport mode.

I’ll start the #nerfthe911...

It’s the new noob car! Tired of being spun or hit by aggressive out of control Porsche drivers...

My Citroën is quick but not easy to drive. Hit me and I’m gone. Happened at the start two races in a row and in about 10 of the 12 races I ran yesterday at Nurb GP. Got fed up and turned off my console.

I’m S/S so I got hit by A/S and S/S drivers. Probably too many NASCAR fans rubbing fenders.

Two races in a row just now I was running 8th place late in the race (race c - alsace). Then out of nowhere I get dropped 2-3 places, really strange.

Today I hosted N300 lobby with BoP on Suzuka.
I was driving Skyline R32 and doing 2:31 laps, best was high 2:29, while other players went in front like "formulas" and FL of race was 2:15.xxx

What I did wrong was leaving tuning on, that worked despite of BoP was turned on...

I guess it was that?

Yeah, a bug... after cars have pitted it doesn't seem too sure which lap they're on. But it gets it right in the end (I think).

I think people are doing this tbh. I seen a lot of yellow flags, I can't help but think that some of them are getting triggered by the people using that exploit. I should have saved the replays.

Well there's that too :(

I have seen the other bug though, last lap of a Brands GP fuel consumption race. I was something like 5th. Couldn't work out why 19th place was gaining on me so fast, but it was because he'd pitted and I hadn't, and it thought he was a lap behind. My position dropped by 1 as he crossed the finish line and it corrected itself. All fair and square.

The glitch, on the other hand, jumps someone a lap ahead when they do it.

Now I just wish I had taken a screenshot of the driver list for the video.

Happen to see this post today and fortunately I took a post-qualifying screenshot of the grid from that Top 24 race. 👍

Just hopped in my old account to compare possible physics differences (didn't find any with Ford Focus). And now my main account's car thumbnails load forever. Argh! I'll try and delete the other acc's game data..

Yesterday I suffered the bug where you get stuck on the grid at the start of a race for the first time. Typical it would happen in a lobby where we all seemed very well matched. Ah well, I guess I've been lucky so far.

I had exactly the same issue for a few days.

I'm not sure exactly how many cars I have, maybe 240ish.
But they simply weren't loading.

In the end I went to my Garage and then walked away for quite some time.
I took a peek after about 5 mins and it was still a mess.
But after a while all car thumbnails had loaded.
I deleted temp. data and manual saved (probably don't need to do that).
Checked Garage again and instant load of cars.
Closed game and restarted, instant load of cars.
No problems since.

So my advice is just be patient once, get them all loaded, and hopefully it will behave as it should from that point on.

So ive been trying to do a daily race, i post a time and exit the track, but when i go back to the race menu, the screen stays black and dosent show the track. I tried to stay on the track to see if it would be fixed but yet for some reason, the game stays stuck "Preparing to Match" and nothing happens. Any help on how to fix this issue?!

Multiplayer in GTS, like every other racing game sucks ass. Love the game, but...multiplayer sucks ass big time. And for the same reason as always: No one knows how to race clean. Even the A, S whatever. Sometimes they are the dirtiest drivers. It's just that they know how to get away with it. So, yeah. Sucks ass.
