Saleen S7??
Seems way too short to be a saleen s7

With the top 3 cars on that picture (classic Le Mans race cars) I'll go ahead and guess La Sarthe will come next week. :)

Seeing the old Viper GTS I'd love to see Laguna Seca too, a track I've been associating with this car since the old school license test.
I guess Le Mans or Deep Forest will be the first track added to Gtsport. First, the three LMP1, now three classic Le Mans race cars...

I mean it's good that their adding more variety of cars into the game but give us tracks as well when y'all release these updates. 2 tracks per every major update would be great. Also what happened to GT Sport app? Any update on that? It would be nice to have the discover feature in the app and we can look at the community creations and download decals and stuff into our library on the go.

Car pack seems neat but, weirdly enough, I'm kinda more interested in Gr4 versions of cars. I just don't find the N (street) cars very fun to drive (even a little frustrating) because of how poorly they handle. Like, the R32 was fun to see added, but it's kinda painful to drive because I know how it is in real life annnd.. it doesn't drive like a boat on ice skates. Since all of my time is spent in Sport mode, I'm always using Gr4 or Gr3 cars

I'd be way more into these packs if they added them as sets. Example:

Supra, Supra Gr4, Supra Gr3 (JGTC)
(NA1) NSX, NSX Gr4, NSX Gr3 (JGTC)
AE86, AE86 Gr4 (N2)
(E30) M3, M3 Gr4 (Group A)
R32, R32 Gr4 (Group A)

Etc etc. You get the idea. Of course there is the issue with Gr4 BoP being too fast for some of these historical/slower cars but that is a whole other conversation. I'm still holding out hope that they will add Gr4 versions later on; it's silly to make the lovely model and then not tweak it a little and have a Gr4 version.

Biggest fear would be they don't because they don't want to disrupt the sanctity of this super official FIA structured stuff  Which would mean we're stuck with these race cars forever.

*Also, tracks are probably more important right now. They didn't say they were adding that Kyoto config prior to release so let's hope*

Personally I would prefer the "historical or from decades past" cars be given their own class rather than be lumped in with modern day cars in the GR3 and GR4 classes.

I have run some custom races just playing using the '66 Cobra against gr4 cars and the car look absolutely ridiculous being on the same track among current day cars with its much smaller stature and narrow footprint when compared to a cars design today.

No reason that races other than what is currently being run in sport could not be expanded to eliminate some of the repitition that is making the game grow stale quicker than it should for many players.

@VFOURMAX1 I mean, yea, It'd be great if they had a few more categories. Cobra is sort of an extreme example. I wouldn't put that into Gr4 at all. But maybe 80's + tin top cars don't seem that far fetched to me.

Of course, the problem with a wider variety of distinct vehicle groups is that everyone gets thinned out even more in the lobbies, which is a bad problem to have for a niche, online competitive thing like this.

*ahem* Multi-class racing could solve a chunk of this. Gr5 would be your 200-300hp cars (Miata, Civic, Elise, S2000, E30 M3) while stuff like the Supra, E46 M3, NSX etc could fit into Gr4. Then you have Gr3 and Gr1. Each pair could run in the same races. Blue flags would have to be added of course. Staggered starts. And of course a Historic/Vintage category with a high and low as well for everything from GT40s, Mustang/Camaro, Cobra, and Elan thats pre-1970's.

We can dream right? None of this will ever happen.

I have never personally ever gone into the lobbies but have done a pretty fair number of Sport races (about 240 or so) and I was talking more along the lines of the vintage preferably actually race cars could be put into their own classes and replace at times the gr3 or gr4 or even one make races and then you would not really be thinning the ranks just adding a vintage class into the current mix adding more variety to the race schedule.

That should not thin down the racers for sport anyway.

Personally I do not like racing the street cars as most of them just do not drive like a car with the suspension set up properly for track use and some shift so slow between gears it feels like I have time to go fix a cup of coffee.

But vintage race classes would be cool, where is my 917 Porsche and when will it be in game, lets go race!

@VFOURMAX1 Sorry, by lobbies I meant just like.. pools of people queuing up for Daily or FIA races. It'd be great if there was an additional Vintage daily event, but the issue is more so for the other stuff. If they don't add multi-class, then we end up with like 10 dailies and 10 FIA events etc. Of course we haven't seen a real planned FIA race schedule so that may or may not be fine.

When I do dailies, it's usually just one of the three and I only do it a few times in a day, if at all. If they had five different events I liked, it'd probably be the same. I can't just sit and race non-stop as it either gets boring or I'm hot/sweaty if it was a hard race and need a break.

Finding myself less interested in the dailies. The game sorely needs new tracks, and an offline overhaul (which doesn't involve PD's initial plan of simply removing it).

Been having a load of connection issues lately :( . Liveries not loading, disconnects before sports mode races, and red bars during them (even though the lag appears minimum). Did also get a NAT unknown type message when accessing the lobbies.

Tried deleting the cache in the network settings but to no avail. Is this just me? any easy fix?

It's been put together mainly for the Daily Award cars testing and for my own purposes, however having done all the hard work on this, I figured some others might be able to put it to use. :gtpflag:

The spreadsheet below is a complete list of cars in the game, together with a column listing all the available combinations of cars and colours (THERE ARE 808 SO FAR!)

If you want to see the spreadsheet, send me a request and I'll add you. I like to "Give the People What They Want". Editors are limited though to avoid too many **** ups

(Rest In Peace Jim Rodford, I had the pleasure of seeing you playing on the Phobia tour when at University in 1993).

So, I reported a decal in GT:Sport that was the Honda logo, made up of two stickmen spit roasting a stick woman.

I just got a message back from the report team telling me that they couldn’t find any rule it broke and so they wouldn’t take it down...

Idk how many other people on here have reported anything, but I think it’s worth bearing in mind that unless it’s seemingly graphically explicit, the moderation team won’t do anything.

I think it would be wise to include a Clubman and National class below GR.4 that could include more modest racing cars. Have it conform to N200 and 300 but on racing tyres and say stage 1 weight reduction.

Has anyone else in the UK just had a power outage? Worried about my gt sport save game though.

If that's your only worry from the outage, you're lucky to be fair.

I know this means nothing but thank you for taking the effort to report it.
