It was consecutive days too. First day felt like such terrible luck. Second day I see it appear again, and can't believe my luck, but then I win a cheap Renault instead... :banghead:
Based on your experience, I will start adopting a tactic that I saw here in GTPlanet: close the eyes before the selection appears, and only open at the end...lol

Hello, just a Question, I haven’t driven any FIA Manufacturers or Nations Cup ever. Do i gain and loose DR/SR like in the Dailies, or do I only win Points?

Does anyone know the trade in value of the XJ13 and the 330 P4 ? . I’m try to get my next 20 million need about another 6 million, before I can buy one of them. I would like to know if they are the same price for trading in, should I be so lucky as to win a duplicate after buying one.

You only get 6 million trade in on either of them.

Ah ok, thanks.
Indeed the lenghty qualification provides a nice way to boost your SR - just make sure you wait for the pack to move out enough so you have a clear track.

On a side note - I had not played for a week. I've been stuck in SR:S/DR:D for a while and found it impossible to move up. Strangely in my daily races I got very mixed lobbies - DR A and B would be thrown in the mix of D's making it event harder. Yesterday I had two races and my qualification was mediocre - had only two laps on Suzuka and had a lap time I know I could push even a second down. Additionally the gr3 WRX is not particularly fast. Yet instead of my normal position I got in top 3, and finished there respectively without too many issues.
Has there been a shake up of DR or change in lobby creation? Because I am sure I have not become any faster, yet I get higher positions.

I think SR gets prioritized in matchmaking - so as to group like-minded drivers together - over DR.

With regards to you being matched with D/S yesterday, you must have just entered a popular race at a good time, when there were plenty of other D/S or C/S around to populate your grid.

I guess you are right. It might be that more people have obtained a SR:S lately so there's a wider selection of DR:S DR: D drivers so lobbies are more diverse. It's still a strange feeling - being hard to push beyond 8th for quite a while, then suddenly getting better positions...

So I'm a part of small batch of rare breed of clean, yet incapable drivers :D Jokes aside, thanks for the link - that explains why it is so hard to get of S/D. I think though PD can do a better job at balancing the size of these rating pools as it leads to such situations. I was moving towards at one point - and with 128 people there at the moment, we would have been a small club of elites knowing each other by name.

How though? Inflating them by including less-fair drivers? Then you would complain that people are bumping and shunting... the other way is done now, by bringing down higher rated DR players.

The best thing you can do is to try and hold or gain positions and see that as a "good race" :)

I'd definitely leave the unfair drivers inclusion aside.
However instead I'd make amount of DR addition/removal at end of a race dynamic based on current rating lobby size compared to others - if S/D is too large, make it easier for slower drivers to go up or drop down. I think DR groups should remain with a ratio size. Otherwise there are situations like this - there is exactly one driver with DR/S, SR/B. That guy will be put with drivers with different rating anyway (yeah it will be probably with those *close* to his).

Sadly, I'm little by little giving up from Gr. 3 class and now when it becomes popular, Gr. 1 too - but that class is not important to me.

Reason why is so bad TCS off system.

Too hard to handle it without it, way to ugly to drive with it's "corrections"...

Gr. 4 works perfect and there can't be such drastically differences between the two of them!

Yes, the matchmaking is sometimes poor. I mostly drive early in the morning or late at night. Most of the time it works well.

Perspective? All I can think about is the time it took to make that should have spent on cars and tracks and literally anything else gameplay related.
I doubt it took nearly as time/resources to make as you think it did. Probably a handful of people at most who weren't even involved with gameplay to begin with.

And my point is they could have been involved with gameplay instead.
