Different tracks, time (both in terms of date and actual day time) in the games .Then the real life video (inside camera) last for 10 sec.The Pcars one almost 20 sec and GTS close to....40 sec.In a car that SMS is gonna patch its sound:
"I shouldn't rise to it - but it's not a question of a lack of effort, we just messed it up. I know that's no consolation, but knowing how hard the team works, I do find it hard not to refute laziness claims.
(We have improved it significantly since, but I know that's not much consolation either - it will be better in the next patch though.)"-Andy Garton
And the best part, when youtuber agree with this comment:
"Ew no project cars, isnt even near reality, GTS rules all, in realism"
....Just a good example about a...fair and "unbiased" video comparison.LOL...
Either my human intelligence can't reach your point or your comment is not clear enough.
First of all, the video was a sound comparison. Not a comparison between the two games. So anything else except the car and its sound wouldn't count for this video.
Also, every video lasts the same with the next one. 10 seconds GTS exterior, 10 seconds PC2 exterior, again 10 seconds of GTS and so on.
So I don't really get your point there.

Why would you rush and release the DLC if you are about to patch the car's sound in order to make it better?

Like I said:
Sound comparison (in cockpit view)
GTS:40 sec
Pcars:20 sec
IRL:10 sec
The car for "comparison" is one that Pcars are gonna patch -from the latest DCL-.They did not rush the release. They messed it up (their words).
Notes for that video as written by the uploader:
"Project Cars 2 got a new Porsche car pack. So I wanted to do a sound comparison video to saw everyone that Gran Turismo Sport's sound has improved more than you think."
In other words he wants to prove that GTS has improved sound (compared to older GT titles and/or other titles) and in order to do that he picks a car from another title -just released DLC- that the developer said its "messed up" and they are going to patch it.
Why dont use AC version of the same car that was in the game for months now?Hmmmmm......(Now,can you see my point why the video is biased?Especially since he thinks that "GTS rules all in realism".....)

EDIT:And this video was made by a guy that makes videos about these racing titles :
-GT series
-Driveclub
-Need for Speed
Like I said:as bias as a video can be.

I am the uploader though.

I don't play PC2 so I didn't know about the mistakes to the sound etc.
There are comparisons between AC, FM7 and GTS.
There are also comparisons between the 911 RSR across all these games.
Just because PC2 received the 911 RSR recently and there wasn't a comparison video between GTS and PC2, that's why I did it. I don't keep updated with PC2. If I knew about that I wouldn't have made the comparison video.

Since you are the uploader, then you should have done your research before doing any kind of comparison.
You picked a car with a "bug" -from another title- in order to prove that GTS has improved sounds.
This is what you wrote :
""Project Cars 2 got a new Porsche car pack. So I wanted to do a sound comparison video to saw everyone that Gran Turismo Sport's sound has improved more than you think."
In your channel there are not any other "comparison" videos of any kind between racing titles except this one.And its just happens to be GTS vs Pcars 2 sound comparison using a car that has a bug in one of those titles. So why not do the "sound" comparison using AC vs GTS?Or why not pick the 650s or Merc in GTS/AC/PCARS2?
Also did you know that the 911 had an exhaust package change after Le Man?And some -if not all- of your RL samples are with the new package, while both games are "simulating" the older one.
So -imo- next time do a little research before posting a video like this or people -like me- will call you out about it.

(BTW I did not want to down vote or comment in youtube about these because I did not want to ruin your -as it happens- efford. But be more carefull in the future.)

I know and in the description I said that this is my first comparison video.
The replay exterior IRL was with the old exhaust. The "what we want" part was with the real exhaust.
I know that the 911 RSR has a new exhaust system nowadays. It was hard to find an old one.
Thank you and also I understand your point but like I said I didn't know about that mistake as I don't play PC2.

There are comparisons with all cars across all these games so it would have been pointless to make a sound comparison video with it.
Because 911 RSR is new to PC2 that's why I did this comparison. I didn’t used any other game because there are comparisons already.

I have to say, GTS has brought back memories of GT1, just better. For new generation games, coming from Forza 6, then Project Cars 1, PC2 and F7, GTS is pretty dame good...and I'm on Level 5.

Did a Custom race at Maggiore. Absolute fun with Professional AI. once I learn he tracks, then I'll venture to Sport. Waiting these 4 months is worth it. Track list, car list, livery editor, is going to take up so much time. Good job, PD. Damn good job.

I think that image is a reference to the new supra that has been announced for April no?
That's why I'm not 100% sure - because this can be interpreted like "Supra waiting for successor". But variant with "April update == next update" seems much more realistic for me.

April 9th?
April 8th the Toyota and the next day another car?
Wooo what's going on?

Another "vision" car....How "cool" is that?
Either way, that shape looks really similar with the Lambo Huracan GT3 -maybe the front of the car is a mix of the Lambo and 488-..

Of topic, but how is it that Polyphony Digital has become more consistent with adding content over the last few months versus what they were like during GT6's post-release update cycle? I remember it taking months for PD just to add a new Vision GT car, but now they managed to add at least 10 cars at the end of each month. Not to mention at least a new track layout.

Could they be cannibalizing scrapped DLC content in order to keep their user base numbers intact?

Cars, cars and cars. Only cars. That's why many say GT is more of an encyclopedia of car brands than a racing game. PD does not pay attention to circuits.

It does not favor the circuits in the same way that it enhances the cars. I'm sure if she released teasers of world-wide and original circuits, it would cause more excitement.

Anyway, I think that in April begins a new season of DLCs. Maybe a new car season.

A pity to be another VGT car. I do not like these cyberpunk movie cars. I prefer racing cars, like other LMP1s, old GT1s, new GTEs and GT3 cars.

My opinion.

Or it could be they have a clear plan and structured organisation unlike the PS3 era ?
Agreed they are seperate and unique teams. The scapes have a dedicated team of c12 people from memory unlike the 50+ car modellers and 38 track modellers.
(data source - about the game under options and team credits).

So its not to my mind an obscene waste of resources especially as scapes is there to interest the younger generation share in twitter etc and people interested in photography...

Its clear that for this PS4 generation PD have a very structured team organisation and a very good platform to expand on - will be very interesting to see how they build on this in next few years...

Yeah! Audi VGT is one of the most anticipated VGT for me, cool!

Where did you see a date for Toyota (April 8th)?
Yes my fault. For some reason I had thos date in my mind.
Anyway, we just go the release date of April's update.
I don't think they'll release only one car then.

The vast majority has been cars previously seen in GT6. That'd certainly aid the process.

Remember too that the game was originally meant to launch a year earlier.

out of nowhere i'd like to say something! :D
i used to disable that intro video of gt after some time playing the most recent version of the game (gt5/gt6 that was).
with GTS, i still have that intro video running every time i start this game! i get lost sometimes... the music, the scenes shown in that video, the mood... all gets me hocked/give me the shivers/goose bumps... love that intro video as it shows so much awesome racing action and some memorable moments...!

really... the intro video is a masterpiece, imo. the game is awesome too! im not blind for the faults it has... but i like it most for what it does best!

thing is... im getting sentimental when watching that intro video! love it!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: don't get me wrong! i just appriciate some good racing footage! and that GTS intro nailed it down/sums it up somehow, imo!!!

I think they've lifted their production speed quite significantly. I think it's brilliant. We've never had soo much content to deal with in such a short time period. Maybe they were held back due to delays, but I'm not sure all of them were as 2 cars are from 2017. Either way, you can't complain.
