When he says "plans to create machine learning API for AI drivers league; he imagines races to see which AI system is the fastest, most impressive." it means that he's gonna allow computer companies to create their own AI for the game and then compete to see who's AI system is the best, sort of like Roborace.

Not sure where to post this, but when I was running time trials in the Audi R8 and got passed by my ghost, I noticed the wiper blade was up. It was a glitch and I wonder if PD knows about it.

Yamauchi verbalises lofty ambitions then spectacularly fails to meet the standards set by the current competition. He constantly garners publicity for promising what PD never deliver on.

Aside from PC2, GTS is the only current racing game that features road going Toyotas. The exclusivity is probably a perk from Toyotas and PD’s close relationship.

Wouldn't put too much stock into that. Feels like a Timed Exclusive, just with text to incentivize people to pick the game up just for that car. Not much different from the NFS Shift 2 trailer with the Pagani Huayra and the "Only in Need For Speed" text, only for it to appear in other titles later.

I agree. PD have close connection with some car manufacturer as well. It is just Toyota is now being in the spotlight first. Guess it is just the same thing GT5P did with GT-R R35 world premiere or Corvette C7 reveal in GT5 back then.

The announcement pretty confirms that by saying it'll be available via an update in April.

Interesting that they specifically say an update in April considering the rest of the first planned 50 cars will be arriving this month. Not sure if that means it'll be the sole car showing up or if there are more.

The fact is that if there are cars that will be used for the competition, those will have to be free of charge.
Do not forget that their goal is to fill the game with 400/500 cars and I do not think they will all pay.
However we will see, it is still early to hypothesize something.

I can't remember if the production C7 and the body kit version, was paid DLC after the free camouflage and pre-production models.
