Kind of weird with each new Gr.3 Endurance race, the race distances are getting shorter.

Monza - 173.7 km

Bathurst - 155.3 km

Dragon Trail - 130.5 km

Does anybody else out there wish that GT-Sport had all of the current British Touring Car Championship cars in it? Talk about a fun class of cars to play with.

If not they should have a Gr.TC class cars in the game that has major focus on Touring Car racing cars. Group 4 is kinda close but has GT cars in it and Supercar(Aston, Ferrari ect.) It would be cool to have just a touring car class. Especially since the game has some of the right tracks for TC racing.

Also, since random post is random. Names like Buster Grumbles do actually exist in the real world.

I'd love there to be some sort of 'proper' touring car content. GT2 included most of the 98/99 BTCC pack and a few JTCC cars and they were great fun. Whilst it's be nice to have some of the 90's super tourers return, I'd be happy with NGTC (BTCC) or TCR spec cars.

Does anyone know why the R34 display doesn't work? In Assetto (V-Spec I) and Driveclub (V-Spec II), it does:

Nah, they're just being accurate since most of the MFD's in real life BNR34s are probably goosed by now!
 
I have a trophy question to ask but sticking it in here since it's general.

The trophies for Rubens Barchicello, Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna, can they be done with offline racing or do they have
to be done through online events?

Only online and only in sport mode.

Agreed. The 90's super touring cars would be awesome. Those were some of the coolest touring cars ever. If GT was to ever think about putting those in the game I would ask them to even put the Dodge Stratus super touring car in there from the US series lol.

While those are whimsical, truth be told is that Poliphony would have to get some licensing for BTCC cars but how great would that be to have the current crop of BTCC cars in game at full detail? BTCC has a great list of manufactures right now to choose from and I even believe that sport mode could benefit from it. Right now BTCC has Honda, BMW, Subaru, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Alfa Romeo, Ford, and Audi. That is a lot of cars. That would make some great online racing I feel.

Last time I did a backup, there were two files: one (39mb) for the "game progress data", the other (209mb) for other settings not related to the save file.

One of the ways to do this is to become friends with them over PSN, from there it automatically adds them to your followers I believe. Now the other way of just choosing to follow must be possible because I’ve had non friends follow me, but I’m not too sure how. Maybe find the post in the Discover section? Might be able to follow the person there.

When it was first announced a few years ago. Wasn't it supposed to be a one-off for just FIA sanctioned racing and NOT meant to be the next GT7?

"I remember hearing the original announcement and thinking cool something like iRacing or, maybe AC!!
I feel like this game has an identity crisis! I also feel like the game is at an impasse, there are the ones of us, like my-self who are looking for a more realistic approach to the game and would appreciate just getting more World Circuits in the game.
On the other hand you have people frazzled over the fact that there is not 1000+ cars and that it's too based in FIA racing culture.
Did PD fail on it's original promise? Or, are they trying to appease the masses?

I love this game, I play evertime I get a chance. I'm just confused on what it's trying to be.

I wonder this myself, Macho Man. I can' help but think that they will have to decide at some point what they want it to be. It' just lacking so much in the track department. The way I see it is that No matter what they want the game to be it would benefit from more tracks, real, fake or legacy tracks from GT's past. I just can't understand what is taking them so long.
 
Wish they would embrace things like WEC and SuperGT by having Lobby modes that only allow Gr1 + Gr3 or Gr2 + Gr3. It could then put BOP on both groups (which we can't do in a Lobby without a single restricted car type).

Would make hosting SuperGT events easier. It's not impossible now, it just takes a lot of micro management of the racers if they're not 100% on the regs.
 
I decided to buy the 20m Ferrari. It's weird for the game to have a credit\mileage cap but it's back to regain some money.
Also it's the only car that i can sort of put some Chaparral 2D livery, sadly the Ferrari logo gets in the way...
 
Guys what do you think about May update ? how much cars and tracks we will get i hope it will be more cars than the last time and at least one new real world circuit.
