Been out of the loop for a while. Can anybody update me if there are any known or suspected plans to add weather to more tracks?

I haven’t been able to play the game since release week so I really don’t know if they’ve changed the system from simply choosing from a couple preset time of day & weather combos.

In regards to weather, I think we've all been out of the loop. Don't quote me, but I think back in December Kaz said something to the effect of "it's coming" without giving any indication of when or which tracks.

There hasn't been "normal weekly maintenance" like this. When was the last time you saw a notification like this that was not followed by an update? It may not bring content, but it's an update to be sure.
The maintenance periods that came with updates specifically mentioned that there was an update forthcoming.

This one didn't. It was only maintenance.

Well it seems there was no update file today but I think it's anyone's guess when the weather option will come for the game.

I suspect it is work in progress at the moment as I believe Kaz will deliver what he said back in December but PD probably have to do
new option for the track weather effects to work in game..

Ya. Disappointing.

They could have balanced out some of GR1 or changed the penalties to be the same for everyone. That latter point is still a must in my opinion. In yesterday's gr1 race at Interlagos, the B drivers slammed into my as if penalties were off.

I really hope they're able to implement mixed weather scenarios. The mixed conditions are imperative for a course like Nurburgring where distant parts of the course practically have their own biomes.

No, that's just where they (Prodrive) are holding the event at.

Just wondering if there is possibilities we get the track in coincidence with the event. Still, I think Spa or La Sarthe is likely plausible (or any real life tracks) since last update cycle gave us alternative layout. Just my prediction by the way, nothing is certain until PD or Kaz give a hint.

That reminds me of the one Hotwheels car I used to have, with a third full wheel in the back and a skinny tire on the front.

Remember Bertone vision GT for GT6, it have to be scrapped because company is gone bankrupt. Look like the original creator still working on it and post some new pic on his Instagram.

... And if that thing transforms from LeMans Delta Wing to off-road racer LIKE the one in TRON... "Hold on to your butts!".:bowdown:

Bold assumption there.

I don't think it's that far fetched of an idea (it's a fairly popular and sought-after car, and a premium model already exists in PD's catalogues, and likely won't require much work to be ported to GTS like many of the other returning premiums), but I'd say it's a bit of a stretch to assume this event 100% guarantees it'll be in the next car pack.

Is it just me or is any TC above 2 just worthless? You end up sitting there while the car wastes precious time working out how much power to send to the tyres.

Admittedly this is on the more powerful cars, say N700 up.

TC1 seems to send power to the ground better but you need to be more careful on the throttle.

TC0 of course works fine if you're ok with the trigger. I've used TC0 on a Tomahawk and as long as you only hit in a straight line.

TC 1 is as good as no TC, except in standing starts. TC 3 and above is just useless like you said

TC 2's the only option really
