I've personally heard "dirty air" in NASCAR and never in F1. I feel like F1 is, historically speaking, the more "posh" sport so a term like "Dirty Air" being used by engineer, drivers and commentators alike is unlikely. NASCAR on the other hand uses it a lot as a well-defined term, and everyone that's a fan understands what it means due to it being put in laymen terms.

@sparkytooth I feel like it's some sort of Italian sports car or some Pininfarina concept from back in the day.

I'm thinking as a start, De Tomaso Mangusta but it's missing the chrome.

Alfa Romeo Montreal seems more likely but the hood doesn't match and the wheel well is too tall

Hell maybe we're getting an Iso in GT. Although the only one that matches the shape is an Iso Lele

Just some food for thought. There's a lot of possibilities out there but there's something about this car that strikes me as familiar.
hmmmmm

I believe that the pdf does not focus on visual representation techniques but on Houdini modeling techniques that seems to be a kind of system to model elements procedurally from some basic rules and parameters.

In some pages they show the result of varying a few parameters.

For the case of the modeling of cars in a future Gran Turismo I do not see much application because it does not allow to faithfully recreate real models. If that could be interesting to recreate buildings of generic cities or elements like trees (although Polyphony believed that it already uses Speedtree that is something similar)

Don't you just hate it when you're being blamed after a guy disables you from a race? I had a great race, sure with a few mistakes and some rubbing, but one guy in particular wanted to get me out of the race. He did something every now and then that I'd consider a dirty move, but then he rammed me so hard I spun out. I did end up 2nd with the fastest lap though, so I guess I made a good comeback. #karma.

Skip to 9:20 if you don't want to see all of this slow race.

a maybe very stupid question, how do I upload a video? Is it even possible directly to here? Or do I have to put the video in somewhere extern (youtube for example) and can only link from here to there?

Upload it to a video site like youtube yes, then you can paste the link here.

The only really expensive pebble beach cars were the TZ2 and the Miura especially, otherwise they're actually kinda cheap for spectacularly rare old white people cars

I think the real why the All American Eagle didnt get that much is that it has a spotty race history... a season full of "RET" doesnt sound good.

Maybe contrast to what the 1967 BT24 got.

Be that as it may, I welcome the coming 1967 F1 car pack!

Or maybe it's because it's an Indy 500 car and not the Grand Prix car.
