@GTPNewsWire Seen it on the GT Reddit, I find it very interesting.

Espada? Polyphony's really on fire lately! I wasn't joking when I said that they are adding my favorite cars recently. ONE OF THE TOP 5 BEST LOOKING LAMBORGHINIS IS COMING BOIIIS!

Some recent notes:

-The Diablo GT2 from GT6, given its power/weight figures, could be a potential fit for Gr.3.

-I am still wondering what other FIA GT and GT1 cars could be put into Gr.3 vs. Gr.2? I could see the late-90s GT1 cars like the R390 or CLK-GTR going there. But not so much stuff like the Supra LM or Nismo R33 LM.

-It's also complex when you look at JGTC GT500. Obviously, we have newer GT500 cars in Gr.2, and I'd imagine that Super GT GT300 cars would all go into Gr.3, like if the GT300 versions of the Subaru BR-Z, Lexus IS300, Toyota Prius, or Honda CR-Z were added. (On a side note, I could see both the 2011 and 2018 versions of the Nismo Leaf RC being added here, too.) But FIA GT cars did race alongside JGTC GT500 cars, so I'd imagine that the JGTC era of GT500 cars would go into Gr.3, but I wouldn't assume anything...

Also, I know that there's a common theme with the manufacturer series, wherein all eligible automakers have both a Gr.4 and Gr.3 car. I would ideally like to see both the quantity of automakers, and featured classes of racers be expanded in a later iteration of the manufacturer series. I know that one may need to rely on the older Group C cars for some automakers, but I'd hope that BoP could mitigate that since it's done via AI. And specifically, it could be enacted on a track-by-track basis, and based on the laptime that a car sets on that course.

With this in mind, and the current trends in motion as to which racers are put into each category, there's a decent amount of cars from real-life that could be put into each group. This is also before we account for stuff like the hypercar class that will be in the WEC from 2020 and onwards. But I'm not sure about some of them. For example, I can't think of a potential Gr.1 vehicle for Subaru, Mitsubishi, Renault Sport, Volkswagen, Ford, Citroen, and Lexus, even though I can see one for the other eligible automakers.

Another idea I had, was that if you had an N-series race, and did not permit cars that came stock as one N-series to have their power changed to be eligible for another N-class, then I wonder how many of the N-classes could you fill with the currently-eligible manufacturer series automakers? For examples:

-N100
Honda
Mazda
Porsche
Toyota
Volkswagen

-N200
Alfa Romeo
BMW
Citroen
Ferrari
Honda
Mazda
Peugeot
Renault Sport
Subaru
Toyota
Volkswagen

If I were PD, then I'd suggest "filling" the N-series this way as a potential way to find which cars could be added next. It'd likely result in a wide variety of diverse vehicles, with some surprises here and there. I wouldn't doubt it if most of each N-series could have a car from each eligible automaker if you took the full GT6 car list, either.

So, if you did end up taking the GT6 car list, you'd add the following to N100 alone:

Ford Ka
Renault R8 Gordini (which is coming to GTS soon, AFAIK)
Nissan Fairlady 2000 '68
Peugeot 307 CC
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA '65
Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR '74
Citroen C3
Audi A2
Mercedes-Benz A160

You know everytime I would look at these type of dogs or pics I will always remember Gtplanet member @TheNuvolari shaking it's head like this

Hello guys and girls,

I hope you can help me out with this small questions that has been on my mind. I want to know from which year the 24 hours track is from the Nürburgring. So far what I found on YouTube 2010 / 2019 all use the layout with national track included while the GT Sport version cuts right after the mainstraight onto the classic GP part of the track. Anybody happen to know from what year that is?

Sounds like you're mixing up the 24h and VLN layouts?

I do hope that PD either can find a potentially better way to balance cars/enact BoP, or to at least feature events that have the "sub-rules" idea I've been thinking about. But that aside, what about the next GT game, where tuning will be more like prior installments? Like when you can have different upgrades for weight reduction, drivetrain & transmission, or adding rear wings. Perhaps they'd be prohibited if settings are disabled, but then again, what if someone wants to use a car that's stock but still may have some options that can be tuned? Maybe there could be a "select multiple" drop-down menu for which things could be permitted/prohibited for settings? E.g. limits on what parts can be installed, which metrics can or cannot be tuned, minimum/maximum downforce, and so on. That could end up being pretty fun, as far as the variety of rulesets go.

I do feel, however, that the perceived balance issues with "N-series migrants" like the Ferrari F50 being de-powered for N300, as well notable discrepancies in technology and/or age between cars (e.g. Gr.1 and the Group C racers) could both be mitigated simply by having events (and/or lobby options) that have more specific limitations on the cars that can be used, such as a Gr.1 event where only Group C cars can be used. Not only could this be more balanced, but also more fun and would lead to a wide variety of Sport Mode race rules. It's a lot like how in the official online Pokemon battling formats (called the Battle Spot, as a similar analogue to GT's Sport Mode) sometimes have "Special Battle Season" rules or various online tourneys that have rulesets that force players to use something they wouldn't usually use, like one such tournament where you had to use species under a certain height, or one where each specimen you used had to have a minimum amount of weaknesses.

One last couple of questions/comments:
-Which courses, between GT6 and GTS, are FIA grade 1, and FIA grade 2?
-What original courses, from before GTS, would you NOT want to see return, as an inverse-wishlist? You don't even need to hate them, but I suppose that I'd like to hear what courses you'd be fine with putting onto the chopping block in the place of more preferred original courses from the series. I'm not sure if I'd count Circuit de la Sierra here, as I do like the idea of the Time Rally, and would like to see it return...
-I think that randomly-generated rally stages (like in GT5) should be given another try, too, especially as a potential online activity, and since driving on dirt circuits can seem a bit tiresome after a bit.
-And maybe those more complex city circuits from GT4 (e.g. Costa di Amalfi) could be turned into point-to-point rally stages, too. After all, they were under the rally events in GT4 (despite being more like 1-on-1 races in practice) and I think if they were point-to-point, and made more like actual rally (wherein you win based on time, not position), it could be a lot more fun. It'd likely also be better if all players were consistently ghosted if that sort of thing becomes available in online play, especially with some of those narrower pathways.

I just realized that the DR graph on kudosprime is skewed from all the accounts that just sit waiting with top levels. Hurray for being below average! And accepting it!

I think that PD will be smart enough to roll a final update that puts the single player features into a playable mode when it comes to it.
You think? Funny how GT5 spends ages looking for a server before it gives up with an error and let's you play the game....

Do you guys know if we have all Sema show GT awards winner cars before 2017's? I really cannot wait for it and i hope is gonna make it in GTS View attachment 811227

I don't think we have the 2014 and 2016 cars yet (Rampage Camaro and Levens' Ford Coupe respectively). To my knowledge the release order of the SEMA cars in Sport is as follows:

2013 (CHC '67 Nova in Dec 2017)
2012 (Mach 40 in Mar 2018)
2015 (Fugu Z in Dec 2018)

Make of this information what you will.

Oh i see! Thanks for the info :)

Anyone notice a drop in draw distance with the recent updates?

Stuff like a vent or grill on a car in front of you disappears after a few meters; liveries lose texture or detail; drivers disappear...

Is it just me? My other games are fine. Downgraded Red Dead to 1.00 and have been enjoying that to its fullest so I'm sure it's not a failing graphics card or anything...

For reference, running a launch model PS4.

I know Bruce’s ‘51 Ford (2016) for 100% sure has been scanned, and we’ve already had three other new-to-franchise winners added post-launch so it wouldn’t surprise me to see more, including the one you posted.

A few months back we were trying to figure what this mystery car at the PD offices was:
what the thonl.png

But now that we know PD scanned a Lamborghini Espada, I tried to match it up as best I could and I think its a pretty solid match

Intro21-470x318.jpg

Big wheels, low headlights, chrome wraps upwards on the bumper, long black line through the wheel well back, long hood. It all matches up a bit more than I expected so who knows.

I almost thought that thing was a sibling of a Jensen Interceptor.

They kinda do look similar in a big version vs small version sort of way

The most prominent difference I see when they are viewed in the front is that the Lambo significantly sits lower than the Jensen. Still, I'm surprised to see that they have a model with those twin rounded headlights.
