Tried motion steering since I cut my thumb a good one, that will take some getting used to. Right when I get the wheel feel I forget I have to push buttons too. And typing with one finger sucks.

Some of you may remember this car. Imagine driving or drifting in this on Tokyo Expressway.

YAMASA RAGGIO (from "Ridge Racer 2")
The Soldat Yamasa Raggio '06 would likely be an N300 car. It may also likely be under the Gran Turismo dealership just like the Amuse S2000 if it were to make it...

Trophies are, without a doubt, easier to obtain now that Daily Races last an entire week. Back in the day I was lucky to get 8-10 wins in a 24 hour period. Now that we have a whole week, I’ve gotten 20+ wins from the same event stretched out over a few days.

What sort of advice would you recommend for me? Like is your SR usually at 90 or higher, like with me? I heard that it's a lot harder to get wins/poles when your SR is above 90 because you'll keep being matched with the most-skilled players.

Ehhh, it can vary with your skill set (and maybe time zone). Back when it was a true daily schedule, I found it a lot easier to get pokes and wins because I could more frequently be the early bird to qualifying (I’m in west coast USA so this is around midnight for me) and set an okay time before faster folks hopped in. Especially on ovals or slow one-make race A’s it was fairly easy to get a win from starting on pole, sometimes the race would be fun too. Actually, when it was daily sometimes if the Nordschliefe came up and you set a time right around the reset, there was a chance to be only one with any time at all and you automatically got pole. I think that happened to me twice.

Now on the weekly schedule you have more time to spend just perfecting a quali time, and you have the chance to start high up if you spend your first one or two daily playing sessions running laps. I’m not as good at this, and I’ve personally had a harder time mainly with scoring poles but wins haven’t been as common either.

I had a funny experience in Forza 7.... (Stay with me here!)

So I get maybe $350k a week just in free play money from Turn 10's Forza Hub. I dont spend that much as it gifts you so many cars.

I came across Ferrari in the car store... and I went thru the price list.

250GTO = $1 mil.

330p4 = $450,000

I'm upwards of $10 mil. So do you think I bought them? I sort of feel that maybe Turn10 are trolling PD in a subtle way here.

An improvement on the shifting of the Seamless Shift Transmission confirmed?

Could you help me out a bit, plz. :>)
I'm an old PS3 GT6 player & finally got this GTS thinking it was GT7?
So I am lost. How do you start this to get to where you players are?
How would you start if you just got this game?
Sorry if I am way off but I am struggling not so much in driving (very nice with DS4)
but in just finding a path to the game.
Appreciate any help to get going on the right rode so to speak , ty.
recovering from bad medical stuff is boring and I need to focus on something fun!

I would start with circuit experience to get quite a few credits, as well as a prize car for every one you complete. It'll help you get a good idea for driving while you navigate the familiar tracks. Then there's GT Campaign which is more like the traditional GT style of events, and then you could work on driving school or mission challenges. If you want to get right into Sport mode though, you have to complete Racing Etiquette first, and then can race online in the Sport events (kinda like seasonal events.) And if you just want to free roam online in Lobbys, of course just go into the Lobby.

Thx, for that direction.
I hate wasting time on stuff that doesn't matter.
Any cars that I need to help win all those? :>)

Hmm, I recommend to play the "Driving School" first.
If it's played next to any other modes, maybe you'll feel boring because it lectures the "standard techniques" of the game.
Standards have to be learnt first in my opinion.

Great fun, thx for that.
Started the much needed schooling, lol.
Got thru the first row & got a car, yippie.
I see that need to clean up my technique. :>)

Do you have to win gold on every one?
Got the first level in all gold, then it got hard, so I settled for silver.
Now do I clean off the levels in order starting with lowest to pro?
Is it ok to settle for bronze so I could move on easily sometimes?
My eyes are bad & have problems in dark scenes, grinding gives me headache, lol.
Thx for help, this game is fun & worth $30 for sure.

Another thing I realized with the McLaren F1 GTR being added to Gr.3 is this:
-Modern Super GT500 cars were added to their own group, Gr.2.
-An older FIA GT car, the F1 GTR, was added to Gr.3. Note that this is likely going to be alongside modern Super GT300 cars, as modern GT300 cars and FIA GT3 cars race alongside IRL, and the bodykits on the WRX STI Gr.3 and Lancer Evo X Gr.3 resemble GT300 cars.
-Older JGTC GT500 cars ran alongside FIA GT cars, such as the famed Lamborghini Diablo GT1 that was in previous GT games. I recall the McLaren F1 GTR was also in GT500. Granted, they didn't usually perform well, but they were still eligible.

So this raises some questions:
-Where would JGTC GT300 cars go if they were added? They could be added to Gr.3 like their modern counterparts. But they also may be butted-out by GT500 cars from the JGTC era, since the F1 GTR was a competitor of those cars and was added to Gr.3.
-Does this also necessarily mean JGTC GT500 cars would be added to Gr.3? The presence of a FIA GT car in Gr.3 says yes, but I wouldn't assume anything.
-Where would GT1 cars from the late 2000s go, such as the Maserati MC12, or the Nissan GT-R GT1? I'm not sure if they'd be put into Gr.3, but I could see them being added to Gr.2, since in theory, the Super GT500 cars that are in there and the late GT1 cars wouldn't differ much in age.
-I also wonder where older GT2 cars would go. I'm not 100% sure if they'd be added to Gr.3 like some of the GTE cars in there, even though GTE is a successor to GT2, as far as I've read.

And as another question, I understand that the reason Spa-Francorchamps isn't in the game at the moment is due to PD trying to work out a decent licensing deal, but was this similar for Lotus' situation? Was Lotus - similar to Spa - trying to charge PD too much? Or was it some other licensing issue, namely related to Lotus' sale to Geely, and the resulting red tape getting changed?

Actually, Gr. 2 could accommodate GT1 cars from the ‘90s due to their superior downforce and less weight compared to Gr. 3 cars.

Later GT1 cars from the 2000’s might end up in Gr. 3 though, although this might require heavy BoP adjustments...

And lastly your best bet for GT300 Super GT cars may be in Gr. 4. There’s no way a car with only 300+ horsepower could make it to Gr. 3, unless it’s the newer models from 2015 and onward.

My team just got eliminated in a very stressful way.

The good thing about this is that i can't sleep anymore. If all goes right, i can play the new update by 3 AM. I just want to smash the pedal until i'm driving like the Flintstones.

Do you mean late-90s GT1 cars like the CLK-GTR? Or was this including the pre-GT1 cars like the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) LM?

Late-90s GT1 cars like the CLK-GTR, CLK-LM, Porsche 911 GT1-98, McLaren F1 GTR Longtail and Nissan R390 GT1 are likely to be Gr. 2 machines. The R33 Skyline LM racer could perhaps be Gr. 3 just like the shorttail McLaren F1 GTR that we have now.

2000s GT1 cars like the Aston Martin DBR9, Chevrolet Corvette C6.R, Dodge Viper GTS-R, Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS, Maserati MC12 GT1, Saleen S7R would likely be Gr. 3 vehicles. Polyphony wouldn't add new manufacturers to Gr. 3/Gr. 4 as of right now but maybe they will next season.

No it's only Circuit Experience you need Gold to get a free car :)

You also get a free car once a day when you have completed 26.2 miles.

There's a new race option in sport mode (in Japan) between the daily races and the nations cup.

All Japan time trial or something. It says 'represent your prefecture', opens in 3 days. Do other countries have this also?

Edit - "All-Japan Interprefectural e Sport Championship 2019 Ibaraki"

Has the new "Overtake" button changed the behavior of the Tomahawk's Low Drag Mode? Previously, it could be activated manually for any amount of time until the battery depleted.
