I don't know the new posted here yet look like Toyota give fraga spot for 2020. Maybe Winning FIA Manufacture for Toyota might have give a reason why he full season.

Just awesome. Nothing more to say.

Too bad he couldn't step up to a European feeder series.

The Toyota Racing Series only runs from January-February so usually doesn't cross over with most European racing categories.

So the 300 SEL 6.8 AMG added back in October was recorded in Mechatronik workshop. They are specialized in restoring and tuning classic Mercedes :

Interesting to see the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI DTM/Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG DTM on their website under References, I wonder if PD also scanned these or other cars...

"A few months ago"? This could have been a car scanned for the next GT, I'd love to know the reason behind this choice.
There are some cars scanned years ago but still not added to Gran Turismo. The inclusion of a Honda Fit from 2014 is another clue. And we still expect the return of premium cars like the LFA.

On this date a December content update was released last year. I wonder when it will possibly come this month. Most likely before the holiday break?

Sadly, the probability of it coming to the game this year seems very unlikely, unless PD surprises us with something big for this Christmas. However, they could be saving it for next year, I assume.

The weekend before Christmas seems plausible IMO. I imagine the staff at PD may not be at the office but rather at home instead with their families. Plus on the 28th this month, the last FIA race of the year in Manufacturer's has a TBA track.

Christmas isn't celebrated in Japan (it's a normal working day), so the update could appear any time. We've had updates on Christmas Day before now (there was a VGT reveal one year). But it will definitely be sometime before 28th due to that FIA race.

My bet is on the content update being released on Christmas Day itself as it's a Wednesday.

We do have the "can't play the game until it finishes downloading" bug to be fixed first though through a non-content update.

I think everyone remembers and loves the iconic LM55 Xmas unveiling.

This little thing is a highlight to me given that no one else has done this in such a classy way...

Goddamn I want them to do this again. A group of people at PD took the effort to do this. Why? Because they're PD and Mazda.

Perhaps Boxing Day (Thursday) or Christmas Eve (Tuesday) then? Christmas Eve could make sense especially considering there could be people who could get GT Sport as a gift on the day (myself included back in 2017, that's how I got into the game in the first place).

I did a bit of googling...

https://www.whychristmas.com/cultures/japan.shtml

Christmas is not a national holiday in Japan. However, often schools are closed on Christmas Day. The Emperor's birthday is a national holiday on the 23rd December and there's also a New Year school break. So the holiday break often starts around the 23rd.

I often here this about China and Hong Kong and other Asian countries how they dont celebrate Xmas.

The reality is many are westernised and they want the 'western lifestyle' too.

I mean this:

Fried chicken is often eaten on Christmas day. It is the busiest time of year for restaurants such as KFC and people can place orders at their local fast food restaurant in advance! There was an advertising campaign by KFC in the 1974 called 'Kentucky for Christmas!' (Kurisumasu ni wa kentakkii!) which was very successful and made KFC popular for Christmas!

LOL.

The first major update (1.10 which brought 12 cars, GT league, and Christmas scapes in the end of 2017) was released on the 22nd of December

That was the previous Emperor's birthday, as of this year it's not a holiday anymore. So I expect Christmas to become even less special in Japan than it's been for the last 30 years. From my experience living in Japan for 4 years, it's mostly about shopping, having special food and going out for a date. Other than that it's like any other day, not very similar to Western countries. New Year's and the following days in Japan is more similar to Christmas/Thanksgiving in Western countries: Businesses shut down, families gather, have festive meals, visit temples/shrines etc.

Looking at the Supra Survey reward period December to June is a long time to send this livery/car to players. Especially, when it's only going to players that answered the survey. Whic. Probably aren't the complete GT Sport player base.

The survey itself was only a month and a half. Wonder why such a long time for the reward period. I'm sure they have the data of who bought the car and participated in the Supra Cup. Must be something else to it.

A redeem code? That would be out of the ordinary for car content.
An Add-On in the PStore? Maybe, but still out of the ordinary. We get Birthday cars in the same vein as a DWG.

If the servers can update all PS4s, I'm sure it can update just one car as we've seen in the past. Oh well, one week to go.

The acquisition image has been added to the GR Supra survey entry page.
(The survey is already closed, though)
