Looking at the Supra Survey reward period December to June is a long time to send this livery/car to players. Especially, when it's only going to players that answered the survey. Whic. Probably aren't the complete GT Sport player base.

The survey itself was only a month and a half. Wonder why such a long time for the reward period. I'm sure they have the data of who bought the car and participated in the Supra Cup. Must be something else to it.

A redeem code? That would be out of the ordinary for car content.
An Add-On in the PStore? Maybe, but still out of the ordinary. We get Birthday cars in the same vein as a DWG.

If the servers can update all PS4s, I'm sure it can update just one car as we've seen in the past. Oh well, one week to go.
You're probably reading into it too much. I think its more likely that they just wanted to give this car, but it wasn't done yet.

So it takes six months to send("claim our gift") them? Why a time limit on a gift? There is no time limit on a DLC car. It's in the game or the PStore. Get what I mean?

Did 1 Race C today.

Saw @Sven Jurgens out there. Pre-race message someone says "Nice to see you again". He responds "I'm always here."

Sharing a video from Sven's view (because I need my dose). Only the 1st lap. 2nd wasn't exciting. Overall pretty clean. At the end of the lap my plan was to let him pass me, then draft. But I couldn't keep up. :(

Because it's a "competition" prize maybe? Competition prizes have to have time limits in certain jurisdictions I believe.

Nice to see you on the track! Good race. I wondered about your move, you slowed down quite a bit too much! I see I still lag a bit here and there. It's Saturday and I have seen my connection drop to yellow for a bit now and then. Internet is never stable.

It was a pretty good morning including a few fastest laps, a victory and a clean streak of 6 races until it got ended by you can guess what. Overall the races have been pretty clean. It's been mostly Americans, some Canadians and my favorite Argentinian on the track.

Only 2 BS penalties so far today, last one just now from a car spinning out and clipping my bumper, no danger to leaving SR.S. Pretty good really for a Saturday. Even that BS penalty only cost 2 SR. (97) Races with less SR to earn are definitely better since that makes it take a lot longer for trouble to come back up :)

Btw, I don't know what PD changed about the physics but the car never feels the same race after race. It's especially easy to spot on the middle straight at Kesselchen. On the max end I can keep the car up to 171 / 172 kph through the fast left, sometimes it slows all the way down to 162 kph. Same entry speed, same throttle input (entering with the revs lowered to about 20% on the bar) no cars around, different out come.

Aremberg is always an adventure to find out how fast the car will actually slow down and grip level seems to change during the race for no reason. Sometimes you get a bunch of corners in a row where the car does everything right and then suddenly it's understeer and oversteer again. I guess it keeps the race interesting. Random element added to car behavior.

Could be. Maybe because it involves Toyota Gazoo Racing? I don't know. The Supra Cup was a competition, but just buying the Gr Supra, in game, to receive the gift car, is not.

Got it! Thanks. Well, it’s such a long period, shouldn’t be much of a problem for anyone.
How to Claim Your Reward
During the reward period, log in to Gran Turismo Sport using the same account for the PlayStation™Network used to complete the survey. A reward notification will appear on the Top Screen and the car will be automatically added to your garage.
For sure.

I answered the survey, but how come I didn't get the notification yet? Or will I get it on the day itself, when they're ready to distribute the car?

Should be on the day. I don't know if it will be a pre-notification, like what we get before updates. I can't remember what happened before the GR Supra Gr.3 Concept and Audi VGT updates.

I did an Arcade Gr.4 race today and there was a Supra. It was listed as Supra Gr.4 (Nurburgring livery). Looked weird, listing the livery like that.

Learned today that 1 of the drivers for The Supra in the 24hr Nurburgring was driven by a "Mr. Morizo", a fake name used by Akio Toyoda, the President of Toyota.

The Jaguar D-type '54 is the best car to race in stock conditions in the game.
It have a perfect balance. Tyre's physics on it is very impressive , easy to place , turning close hard racing possible to any driver's level .... Just fantastic.
A very good buy.
Good to know, been working on the LHC & should get all Golds at least and need something to splurge on.

Yes, it's surprisingly good.

Yes, the rumour of GT Sport on PS4 & PS5.
PS5 will be backwards compatible, and should have no barriers for online play. It's unlikely that they will create a PS5 version of GT Sport, as the PS4 version will work on the console. Most I can see them do is a PS5 graphics upgrade (similar to PS4 Pro).

I was thinking of the same thing as well. Should be useful for us who plan to buy the upcoming PS next year.
