Any Infiniti that is just a rebadged Nissan I would rather have as a Nissan.
The M45 has the V8 from the Q45 and the Nissan Cedric has a 6-cylinder.

Yeah but I'd be ashamed to drive it. Just like I'm ashamed to drive the RCF. In fact, I've never driven it by choice.
What's the shame in driving an RC F? It's a modern V8 auto coupe.

Does slower really matter all that much when you're driving to specific speed limits on a daily basis?

In the video game world, things can be done to overcome disadvantages.

I wasn't referring to those. The cars I had in mind were the Nissan Skyline 350GT and Infiniti G35 from GT6. The differences between them were marginal, if I remember correctly.

Speaking on reviews, I thought about this Best Motoring video I had years ago. Testing, racing and comments on the early Z34. Mostly about the term "Sports car".

Yeah. As far as I remember, main differences were steering wheel location, badges and some trim.

I don't understand the hate towards the Infiniti brand. It's what Lexus is to Toyota, or Acura to Honda. More refined, luxurious, and sometimes sportier versions of the same model.

Also, Infiniti doesn't have a bad track record like Hyundai or Kia in the early 90s to 2000s that forever ruined their image. Eg., you have to justify driving a Hyundai Genesis because it's always met with the age-old "...but it's a Hyundai, and will always be a Hyundai" sentiment. Which is also why Hyundai doesn't only manufacture cars.

Are there better brands out there than Infiniti? Yes. In fact their own sister brand is better. What does that change in the context of GT Sport? Nothing.

If I can drive a Samba bus in a game marketed for eSports and FIA racing, why shouldn't I be able to drive something like a G37?

Dunno if me but trying the tourist layout of nords I have too get through the
gates to get back on track to the bridge before it completes a lap, Is that right? thought the end of lap on tourist layout was before getting too the gates again

Debate on assist usage and where the cutoff of TR00 driver is at when using them?

Which update was it that dummied down the difficulty of the Driving Challenges to almost non-existent? If it occurred long ago, then it appears I missed it. For example, the checkpoint time rallies at Tokyo Expressway with the GT-R and at Fisherman's Ranch with the Lancer Gr.B Rally Car give you zero penalties anymore for making any kind of mistakes, hitting the wall, charging into other cars, et cetera...

A friend of mine challenged me to beat his high score in both of these challenges, only to watch the replays he published (due to him getting a rather high score on both challenges) and observing that he was abusing wall-riding and using other cars on the course as turning/braking assists. A shame, because I really enjoyed these challenges, but the actual difficulty behind them seems to have all but vanished.

Hey so how does someone up their Driver Rating? I've gotten my Sportsmanship rating to S but Driver Rating has been sitting at D for months
