Sort of... I started wanting to make a replica, but of those tiny squares man.. pfff... so it became more of a inspired/tribute/replica/wannabe version. I couldn’t find pretty much any of the logos that it should have, but I came across a reference picture of a, i guess demo or decommissioned, version that had most stickers taken off, so that’s my excuse and i’m sticking with it

Anyway I hope you’ll all like it!

VLN #187 Vantage Centenary Celebration (2012)





The #187 Vantage 100 years celebration, raced by Dr. Ulrich Bez in the VLN (with friends) it scored a podium finish in class. Really pleased with how this tuned out, creating the mask and getting into the game proved problematic (it is white over an aluminium base), but it was worth the effort, it looks fantastic when the light is bouncing off it! A number of other custom decals were required to finish it off. Will probably do a version with GT number panels later

Replica of the Young Driver AMR V12 Vantage GT3 that was driven by the brothers Stuck in the 2012 VLN. Difficult to find pictures of especially in VLN trim, a great looking car I think

#37 Young Driver AMR V12 Vantage GT3 - VLN 2012





Another day another Aston...

The #37 is the sister car to the #32 a livery I have already posted in this thread, not a whole lot to go on when making the VLN version, until I stumbled over a video on youtube that I was able to screen grab and figure out the series sponsor decal locations and that it that Sparco was on the door! Had to make a quite a few decals for this one, either not available or not quite right, got really lucky in finding useful PDF files! I think the blue on the #32 was a little too dark so lightened it up a tad for the #37 as can be seen in the scapes pictures below.

Its inspired both by the higher performance versions of the C7 as well as this little blast from the past (Hence the name "GT.R")

Another fine pair the livery seems to be a hang over from the Nurburgring 24 hours, where the cars raced as the 007 and 006 (you can find the 007 in my gallery). I have to say they are a little less in your face to the pre N24 liveries, but I kinda like it that way...
