Anyone got an idea how to create this in the livery editor? I can't decide if it's possible as a single decal or if it will require a load of layers...
It's on the Compass Racing NSX. It's the only complex part of the livery but I think it would look epic if done properly!

The workaround is painting the whole car in that colour and then use a negative decal to show it, then cover the rest with other stuff

Yep, that's how you get chrome, fluro, or colour changing decals.

Updated my Nausicaä TS050 livery with a darker base colour, reworked gradient effects, a white roof and the addition of English film logos. Driver names included in the upload linked below, but left out here for visual purposes.
