Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

You and Krisduv had already done great jobs on the SF19 so I didn't want to do the same thing.
There are a few bits I'd probably change on the 650s but happy with both that and the F1 in the end.
The orange wheels definitely work better on the 650s than the black, and the black detailing works better on the F1, compared to the white.

I see you went green ;)
:sly::P :cheers:

My first attempt at a livery in 12 years, came out ok. Went for something a bit crazy rather than the usual clean lines. Will be using this in the IGTL Content Creators races when they resume.
Big thanks to 'Man in a Shed' for helping out with the SVG's.

Does anyone have any advice for applying decals to the inside of rear wing endplates? I've tried on a livery I'm doing on the Gr.3 GT-R and no combination of angles, shapes, sizes, colours, anything, can get it to apply to the inside.

The #23 KCMG GT-R that was driven by Tsugio Matsuda in the 2018 Macau GP:

I have one or two caveats:

- The GT-R model in-game is different, so the sponsors on the front are in a different place because of the headlights on the 2013 model. Same goes for the details on the grill.
- The window-banner is obviously different on the regular version, and the window stickers aren't there.
- There are arrows pointing the door handles on the original which I didn't realise but I've spent so long looking at this I don't care anymore.
- The rear wing isn't right. You can't paint the inside of the endplates so the right side is green on the inside when it shouldn't be. There also isn't a KCMG logo with a black outline in-game, so I had to change the stripes on the rear wing to stop it from blending in. The result is something which closely resembles the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis, but I might have been looking at it too long.
- The KCMG, tyre and number boards on the sides are in different places to accommodate the GT Sport Mode numbers. Also the number boards on the sides aren't the right orientation, but I'm also past caring about that.

- This design's party piece that sets it apart from the other such liveries already made are the green sections - they're all masked. That's metallic green. It doesn't show up as well as I thought/hoped it would but it's there. If I get adventurous I can change it, but I think it'll be a while before I'm revisiting this design.

Big thanks to the TPC guys who I've been bugging about this all week.

Me and the rest of the Z4E boys are doing a BMW endurance race with the Gr.3 cars next month, and the idea is to have five teams of the M3, M6 and Z4. A friend and I decided to do the team liveries and decided to run a beer theme across the fleet. He did Guinness and Budweiser, I did these three (Corona, Heineken and Sapporo). All three have sponsors local to the beer brand, and a different selection of tyre, fuel/oil, and suspension sponsors.

That's just so well thought out. I love to see a race with a theme.

Okay, just in case players are looking to dress up their tyres with their favorite livery. This is how to add Michelin Sport tyre branding, to cars that can be tuned to N300. There are 6 days left to take advantage of this "glitch".

- Pick your choice car and livery.
- Enter Free Practice
- Quit immediately
- go to car settings and exit
- Enter your garage and view the tyre branding
***If you enter livery editor AFTER acquiring the branding, you will delete the branding*** Enjoy.

With the Camaro, I tried to exit straight after. The branding didn't take. Re-entered Free Practice, exited, went to car settings, exited to my garage, tyre branding was applied.
